I bought a roller from ********** put it together and on the first time out the roller fell off. fixed it on the second time out the roller fell off again .fixed it again for the third time guess what roller came off again. fixed it again for the forth time it went back to **********. bought the 48" roller from SEARS use it many time and I've had no problems with it at all wish I had went to SEARS FIRST.

Purchased mine online for store delivery. Received a call 2 days earlier than expected that the roller arrived. Went to pick it up and didn't need to lift a finger. The salesperson brought to my van and loaded it in. Got it home, unpacked it and found it to be well made and easy to assemble. I think it will be a durable product for my needs. I mow a couple acres, and the roller did fine. Since the roller is high density poly, I don't have to worry about the roller rusting out from inside.

Pros: I had a couple of concerns about this roller, wife said get the wider heavier one, I wanted something 3 foot wide to follow nicely behind my 14 horse Toro Timecutter mower, so I did what the wife said, bought the wide (4ft) one. On my first use, I was worried about it being so heavy, so I only filled it with water about half way, oh yes you can and it rolls just fine, but more importantly my mower pulled it like butter, so I decided to fill it to the max 550 lbs., same thing, mower pulled it along beautifully, and my yard is not level anywhere. I would highly recommend this roller for it's ease of use. It weighs 60 lbs empty so you can easily move it around and I am going to hang it on the wall when not in use. Cons, not really, but it could use a double fill, one on each end with hose connects, so you can hook it up and walk away, you could open the other end for air release, but it was ok. if you have a driveway, be careful, it is scary, no problems, but it acts like sandpaper on the plastic drum, avoid rocks and stumps for the same reason. Other: I love Sears, they stand behind everything, rock solid!
