I bought this 4 years ago during a summer storm that knocked out our power. I used it then to power our frig and freezer. I've since had an electrician install a transfer box with 10 circuits on it and an outside plug for it. We've had several blackouts since then and it has performed flawlessly. Always starts by the second pull. I change the oil once a year and that's it. It powers the furnace, the well pump, the sewer pump, lights throughout the house and a bunch of plugs. For not too much money, this little machine will take good care of you. I have over 120 hours on her now and she still runs like a top. I'm considering a bigger model to handle the A/C, but you can bet it will be a Briggs & Stratton. This is a great machine.
