My drive is about 20 years old and is very rough so it collects dirt in short order. A pressure washer will clean it but it is an inch at a time. This unit cleans a wide area and all you have to do is let is hover over the tough areas and it even cleans those. One of the best purchases I have made. Highly recommended.

Waste of time.

I bought and returned two of these. It worked great for the first 15mins. Then when I released pressure from my gun and went to reapply it, the surface cleaner would no longer spin. I started and stopped it several times and it would no longer turn, only spray. I have a pressure washer that is 3000 psi and 2.5 gpm with a honda engine and it is only a year old. I ended up having to clean my driveway the old fashioned way. Like I said it did work great when it turned but why risk it.

Piece of junk

Based on reviews I purchased this item. What piece of junk. My power washer is rated @ 1750 psi. Water trickled out of the jets, no pressure. Using regular connections everything is great. Will return this to sears today.

Gotta have pressure washer tool!

This product is great! I have Kool Deck around my pool and every spring I have to clean it off. This is a very porous and heavily soiled area. The pressure washer with the normal tip takes practically the whole day, cleaning a 2 - 3 inch swath at a time. With the surface cleaner, I cleaned an area that would have taken well over 1/2 hour in less than 5 minutes. If you have concrete sidwalks, patios or decks to clean this is the tool you need. It works just like the video shows.

AMAZING PRODUCT! Such a time saver

It used to take me about 5 hours to do my all driveway. I bought this product after trying it at Sears Demodays and i washed my all driveway in just an hour and half!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Magic Cleaning Hovercraft

I bought this hoping it would clean half as well as my neighbor?s professional surface cleaner that I borrowed 6 years ago. Other than being smaller in diameter this cleaner worked as well as the professional model. I used it with a Generac 3000psi 2.7gpm pressure washer. My driveway is laid out in 12X12 sections, with this cleaner I was cleaning a section every 11 minutes. This was a very dirty drive. I was so impressed that I had to stop and take pictures, but I can?t add them here. The only drawback I found (if you can call it a drawback) is it leaves about an inch of area from any edge the cleaner hits. A neighbor came over while I was refilling the pressure washer with gas and ask about the surface cleaner. I offered to let him use it at his house, he declined the offer and went home and ordered one for himself. Hopefully this will last several seasons, if not I will buy another one of these when/if it breaks.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

This is a must have in the pacific north west!

I just got this thinking if it helped a little I would be happy. It is about 10 times faster and does a great job. I have a huge drive way and a wrap a round deck. My family and I spent 5 days pressure washing the drive way and got only about half done. We finished in 5 hours with this. I love it!! This is a must have in the Pacific North West to get rid of moss.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Time Saver

Takes about 1/4 of the amount of time to do my driveway with 1/10 of the effort. Great product at a great price. I was a little weary of the plastic body, but it does hold up.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

BRIGGS AND STRATTON SURFACE CLEANER

Excellent for power washing your flat surfaces. Cuts thru dirt/mold/algae and your done in 1/3 of the time vs using the spray nozzel.

Surface Washer

This Craftsman Surface Washer lasted all of five (5) minutes before leaking out the top of the unit from the seals in the brass head to either side of the quick connector feed. This is the axis that allows the wand to move up and down. The loss in pressure due to the leak stops the wand from spinning. I was operating at 2400psi. I would not recommend this product as it was effectively 'out of the box' defective. Poor craftsmanship, Made in China.

Wow it's a great cleaner

Ordinarily, I don't write reviews for products I buy, but I feel obligated to do so for this one. I am absolutely amazed at how well this product worked. I'm simply a homeowner, not a professional, but in my opinion it's an excellent value for the money. After spending hours going back and forth in tiny lines with a regular nozzle and missing various spots, I figured that there had to be a better way to clean my aggregate pool patio. I took the plunge on this product based on the reviews and figured it couldn't be any worse than what I was already doing. All I can say is WOW. It performed well above my highest expectations at getting the worked in grime out of the patio surface. I re-washed the whole patio in the time it used to take to do about 1/4 of it (and the results were, much much better with this tool). I will say that it's great at getting the dirt loose, but it's not the best at pushing it away after it's loose. That small issue is the only thing that wasn't simply off the charts in performance, and I'd still probably rate that issue as performing "fair to good". It's not terrible at this, but it's a bit complicated to direct the dirty water where you want it. What I found worked best was using it in conjunction with a "fan" nozzle. After getting everything loose, in an area, simply clip off the surface cleaner, and click on a fan spray. The debris is detached enough so you can move it easily with a fan nozzle (and if you don't have one, I bet a regular garden hose sprayer would even work for this) and blow it in which ever direction you like. It's simply a bit easier to direct with that than the surface cleaner. When done with that area, click the cleaner back on and repeat in the next area. In fact it cleaned so well, I found I didn't even need to bother with the concrete washer mix I had. There was no difference between using it and not, which I think is more of a complement to this washer than a detriment to the soap, which has worked well in the past for me. Less chemicals on the patio is fine by me to get the same result. This thing saves time and effort, I can't say enough good things about it. Seriously, I am really critical on most designs, and I really, really liked that this one did a better job than claimed and certainly far better than my cynicism would have allowed me to predict.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
