no need for more
i bought this tool set about 2 years ago, it has been my main tool set since then, the only things that i've replaced in these 2 years have been the ratchets, all 3 of them, but the 1/4 ratchet has been replaced 3 times now, thats not a problem for me because i just went to sears and got a free replacement, no questions asked, i sold the tool box and placed the tools in my tool chest, the only things that can be better are the nut drivers, the size is not very easy to read, but that shouldnt stop you from buying it.

Missing ratchet
I purchased this tool set online then picked it up at the Sears store. After I took all the tools out of the bags, sorted them and placed them in their spaces I realized the 1/4" ratchet was missing. I called the store, then was transferred to 4 different people. In the end (after 45 mins on the phone) I was told someone would call me back. This was a couple weeks ago, no call back. Also the insides of about half the sockets are not finished, it's just raw metal on the inside. The other half of the sockets are fine. I would not recommend purely based on customer service.

Great basic kit, very complete super starter tool set

I bought this kit for myself to take on a 4-year overseas assignment. I added a set of Craftsman screwdrivers and pliers, a torque wrench, and a jack and jackstands. I did many projects with these basic tools, and purchased a few others as required (ball joint removal tool, bushing removal tools, etc). I have been working on cars for 25+ years and have a many, many tools at my home shop in the US, but I was amazed at how much I could do with this simple kit. I call it a "super starter" because it's much more than I started with in my first Craftsman tool kit given to me when I was 18. I was so impressed that I have now given one to each of my nephews to get them started...and of course added the Craftsman screwdrivers and pliers sets, too. I wasn't crazy about the plastic tool box at first, but it's very sturdy, and the organizers in the drawers make it easy to see if you've dropped, lost, or left behind any tools during or at the end of a project. They're also easy to pull out and take to the work area instead of going back and forth for the different sockets and tools. And, finally, you can't beat the lifetime warranty from Sears Craftsman, especially at this price.

excellent beginner set

Most everything for nuts and bolts on the car or around the house. When you get it on sale and have points to useit can be very reasonable.

Craftsman Quality while it lasts

Picked up this USA made set as back up to current collection. Most new sets are China made so keep your eyes open when purchasing. Good stuff while you can get it

made in America

This kit has just about everything you would need. Its made in America! This is ultimately why I purchased this set. It was missing a few pieces and I went back into the store and they gave me the replacements. I feel the case is sturdy and works well. There is no compartment for the box wrenches or allen keys. Most of the sockets arent fully chromed and polished on the inside. 100% guarantee and made in America at a great price is hard to beat!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Overall
Great starter set, get a different box

My dad gave this set to me before my wedding 3 years ago. It's a great starter set to build off of. I cannot comment on missing tools or the online service, but all of the tools were accounted for. Be very careful with the tool box though. Don't tilt it, don't support it from the bottom...don't carry it. Possibly save yourself the headache of realizing all of this, and just purchase another too box. The box is frustrating, to say the least. The plastic doors that pop into place and hold the trays in pop out with the least bit of pressure from the trays. Also, the trays on top will fall down if you pull out a bottom tray completely. Trust me, I've put all 250 pieces back on multiple occasions....The tools themselves have been great though.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
