Get the Job Done Fast with the Max Axess Auto Ratchet
The CM C3 Max Axess auto ratchet is powered by Craftsman's top-selling platform, the long-life C3 19.2V battery. That means you're not tied to air hoses or cords. You loosen and tighten quickly and easily, anywhere. You also carry fewer tools, because the pass-through design eliminates the need for deep sockets, and easily tightens long rods, too. The auto ratchet comes with the three socket sizes you use most and an adapter that drives every 3/8-inch drive standard socket.
With the Max Axess auto ratchet you loosen or tighten at up to 225 rpms, with a variable speed control, and switch to manual for a finger-tight finish. In low light situations, use the included LED illumination, and in cramped spaces take advantage or the small head designed to get in anywhere. Get the job done with this efficient portable tool that puts the power in your hands.

Overall I love the idea behind this tool. It is very useful however if you push the least bit on the tool to hold it on a bolt the 3/8 attachment pushes out of the tool very easy and is such a pain. Craftsman PLEASE FIX THIS!!!!!!!!!!! I would so 5 star this tool except for that.
I have been on the fence about getting one for a while, but I am glad I did! I have not had problems with the adapter fitting coming loose like some others, but I mostly use this with my Max Axess socket kit, anyway. This is a great tool to add to your C3 collection!
I am on the C3 line, so when I came across this ratchet, I thought it would work great working in and around the car without the need for a compressor. Unfortunately, this tool is not a substitute for an air ratchet. I do not have Mac Axess socket, nor do I intend to, so I used the 3/8" adapter. I to have had the same problem that others on this site have mentioned, the adapter keeps popping out. Also, the reverse forward switch is a little stiff to shift at times. I have used it on my car to quickly remove the battery. I have also used it for tightening large nuts on my children's clubhouse. Both projects the ratchet worked well. I do hope that Craftsman makes a better adapter.
I just received this and on a very small initial charge it could spin anything. After a full charge it could spin nuts pretty quickly. The lithium ion battery is so light-which battery weight was my biggest concern when thinking about hold and balance in tight spaces. As far as the adapter-I have a max axess set with the same one- if you read the directions-line up the ribs and push it in until it clicks-I've had to hit it with a mallet to knock it back out actually.(maybe I've gotten lucky?). I will say-I do have a max axess set anyway if indeed it does start happening. However-this is not a replace all-do all tool. This is a "convenience and time saving tool." I can break the nut/bolt free or give it the final tighten myself. This is meant to save the tedium and time of that 20 revolutions in between, or better yet-that tight spot that is going to take you 600 3-click ratchet revolutions while bent in really uncomfortable position. Or for quick assembly of stuff. For that it is priceless. I picture this saving me hours of time and hand energy, even more than my stanley rotary dual drive ratchet (another great time saver and great for time savings). I got this on sale-for less than what the battery and charger would've cost. And the 19.2 platform is really great. I don't know about full price, but on sale this is worth every penny.

This auto ratchet works well for tight reach areas where in some case you might not have the hand torque to bust loose nuts or bolts. The lithium battery supplies plenty of power and the included charger rapidly charges to full in an hour. Thank you Sears.
I got the Max Access socket set earlier, the C3 Max Axess Auto Ratchet is the greatest companion for that set, fast and efficient, it helps me speed through those situations that would leave my arm dead tired! And the fact that the battery charger will charge all of my batteries from my other tools just sweetens the deal. Thanks Craftsman!
I don't know whether this so is broke or very poorly designed but the three eights driver that comes with the cool falls out all the time I'm going to return the tool to the store and see if it is broken I returned it once they told me that's how it's design ,but it can't be it has fallen out 25 times in one day so whoever made this tool never used it or it's broken
