You don't need a 'cheater bar' on your 3/8-in. drive ratchet, just pick up your 1/2-in. drive ratchet and be done with it! This is a torque monster and will break just about anything loose from lug nuts to alternator or head bolts!
I could never get by without this gem in my arsenal!
I own two of these bad boys, one that I have had for a few years now that I keep permanently in the truck with a 3/4 in impact socket on the end and the other I bought about a year ago that I have in my aviation tool set. Both happen to be USA made and do not have the hole punched in the end of the handle. The one for my car has loosened lug nuts hundreds of times and with a breaker bar has loosened stubborn axle nuts torqued to 180 ft lbs. With the fact of the rust and the time it has on the car, loosening it requires about 50% more torque to break free. This breaker bar has always stood up to the challenge. The one in my aviation tool set is not used as much, but has seen forces of well over 200 ft lbs. Great breaker bar. Highly recommended if you can find a USA made one.
This is a fine breaker bar. Socket go on and come off easily, and the plating is good. I just wish it were made in the USA rather than in China. When you compare it to USA-made craftsman sockets, you can tell the angles of the forgings are a bit rougher, with less care put into it.
I love the quality of this craftsman product. I use this breaker bar all the time and it has not once let me down. The warranty is pretty good also, I strongly recommend this item.

I couldn't have done a lot of very tight fasteners jobs like suspension, crankshaft pulley bolt, lug nuts & chassis work without it. Well made product to break loose those highly torqued or seized bolts.
I was in a pinch needing to loosen a bolt on my suspension of my car that I just couldn't get with my wrenches or ratchets, so I was in need of a breaker bar or an impact wrench. Since I was already doing this job myself because I was in a tight spot, I didn't want to shell out a few hundred on a decent impact wrench, so I walked to the closest tool shop(Sears) and picked this thing up. I eventually got the bolt loose, but the breaker bar bent when I was only using my own hands. If you want something that looks nice on your wall, this is it, but don't count on it if you need a quality tool that will stand up to 150 lbs/ft + of torque. This will leave you needing a new breaker bar. I will be returning the tool this week and picking up something somewhere else for my $30.
