You don't need a 'cheater bar' on your 3/8-in. drive ratchet, just pick up your 1/2-in. drive ratchet and be done with it! This is a torque monster and will break just about anything loose from lug nuts to alternator or head bolts!
I could never get by without this gem in my arsenal!

for just a couple dollars more you can get craftsman from sears instead of Pittsburgh from **************. I have put some serious stress on this and its held up where as my buddy bought one from HF where chome chipped off the first week and it broke under the strain. I always buy craftsmen when I can :)

Works exactly as intended. The simplicity is somethign that is beginning to lack in hand tools. In todays world where Craftsman is trying to make more and more universal tools, it is refreshing to see some 'classic' designs that just work... and are uncomplicated. Too often these more complicated universal designs add bulk and movement that makes tools harder to use. Appreciate Craftsman leaving their breaker-bars alone.

This flex bar known to mechanics as breaker bars is solid and heavy duty enough to last and perform every time I use it. Also knowing that if anything did go wrong with the tool. It is backed by a replacement guarantee by Sears. The only concern by mechanics is that Craftsman tools are starting to be made in China. Same guarantee and we are being told same quality. But only time will tell.
I bought this item to use for taking the lug nuts off my wheels on my car along with a socket. The tool is perfect and the quality is excellent. It made taking the lug nuts off very easy because of the leverage the wrench produces. I would recommend this product.

I own two of these bad boys, one that I have had for a few years now that I keep permanently in the truck with a 3/4 in impact socket on the end and the other I bought about a year ago that I have in my aviation tool set. Both happen to be USA made and do not have the hole punched in the end of the handle. The one for my car has loosened lug nuts hundreds of times and with a breaker bar has loosened stubborn axle nuts torqued to 180 ft lbs. With the fact of the rust and the time it has on the car, loosening it requires about 50% more torque to break free. This breaker bar has always stood up to the challenge. The one in my aviation tool set is not used as much, but has seen forces of well over 200 ft lbs. Great breaker bar. Highly recommended if you can find a USA made one.
This is a fine breaker bar. Socket go on and come off easily, and the plating is good. I just wish it were made in the USA rather than in China. When you compare it to USA-made craftsman sockets, you can tell the angles of the forgings are a bit rougher, with less care put into it.
