Accurate tool
I have found these old beam type wrenches to actually be more accurate than the newer styles. Great tool for the price. Craftsman needs to release on that measures inch pounds.

2 drawbacks
Drawback 1: It's only accurate to +/- 4%. Drawback 2: The maximum torque is only 150 ft lbs. For professional mechanics, a higher accuracy will be required and a higher maximum torque (250 ft lbs) will often be needed for 1/2-inch Drive Torque Wrench.

When you don't have time to click around...

then use a beam style torque wrench... This one is well made, seems accurate enough, and if you are doing multiple torque-to-xxxlb/ft tightenings saves a huge amount of time over the clicky torque wrenches. Just wished it would go higher in lb/ft but this suits most jobs :)

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Works at it should

I purchased this product in order to get the proper torque on certain screws. Since overtorquing can cause damage to your vehicle or screw, it is essential to follow the specifications of your vehicle part when doing work yourself. This product works as it should and is good quality. Not to mention the full lifetime warranty provides piece of mind.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

classic tool

Quality classic tool. No bells and whistles. Just a good quality torque wrench. When you only need a torque wrench once in a while , I suggest this simple tool.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Inexpensive but really useful

This is a great alternative to other more expensive torque wrenches. It still does the job of giving you a reading and it is great for parts of the car that require high torque.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Torque wrench

The craftsman 1/2 inch drive beam style torque wrench is great for jobs from 0-150 foot pounds. It's a fairly good size tool so not great for small spaces.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
