Craftsman is stopping the Industrial lineup so I got this old school design ratchet for a killer price under $15. It is 45 tooth that is in between the 36 and 84 tooth count of lower and higher quality ratchet offerings. The only drawback that I have to make clear is that you will not be able to exercise the warranty if needed since they don't make them any longer. You can't even get them rebuilt in the store as they don't stock the rebuild kits. I have asked! Besides that ... this ratchet is designed with a pawl and spring instead of a spring and ball bearing that is allot tougher and harder to break--hence the Industrial label. So it should last a lifetime or so. I found rebuild kits available on the internet so I plan on ordering one in case I need it 10 years down the road. I like this one so much I am thinking about ordering a second before they are all clearance'd out.

This is a really well made ratchet. It is marked CRAFTSMAN INDUSTRIAL and is made in the USA. You will not find a better ratchet anywhere, very heavy chrome plating and precisie ratcheting action. There is no reverse lever to break off, instead a round part on top with three raised ridges to go clockwise/counterclockwise for forward or reverse. I may buy another just to have in case this one is ever lost(or walks) but I doubt it will ever break. Get em while you can.
