This appears to be a Pneutec UT 8157, which sells in Germany where it was designed for almost double. It has lots of power and will last a long time as long as it's fed oiled air.
It is advertised on the original manufacturer's website as being able to break loose max. 1100 ft.lbs in reverse.
It compares well to the Ingersoll Rand TiMAX and CP 7749.
The only problem with this tool is an optical flaw: the shiny painted hammer housing will scratch easily. As with any other impact wrench, the socket retaining ring will wear out over time.
Highly recommended.
I bought this impact gun not quite a year ago. It's primary use is at my job. I am a mechanic and needed a tough impact gun for heavy duty use. This gun started out to be just the tool I needed. Powerful, quiet, smooth and quick. However, after using it for about five months but not every day, I started to have trouble with the hog ring on the tip of the square drive. The purpose of the hog ring is to retain sockets so they don't fall off of the gun. I literally had to resort to banging on the back of the sockets to remove them. It was due to the hog ring becoming somewhat misshapened from use I guessed. I removed the hog ring and reshaped it so It would work. It only lasted for a little while and the same thing happened. This happened several times over the next few months. Finally I decided to take it in to the Sears facility where I purchased it from. My intention was to either get it replaced or at least get it repaired. Well, that was a big mistake. I was told by a female clerk that Craftsman power tools are only guaranteed for one year. I think I interrupted her coffee break. I told her that I hadn't had the tool for a year yet. She asked for my receipt of purchase. Since it is a Craftsman tool, I don't keep receipts for Craftsman tools. Lifetime guarantee right? Wrong! Needless to say, I took a broken Craftsman tool into the store and ended up leaving the store with the same broken Craftsman tool. Very disappointed.

I returned a less expensive one and bought this one. I am much happier with this one. I also upgraded my air hose to a 3/8 diameter hose but unfortunately the fixtures are still 1/4". This impact will tighten wheel lug nuts to 90 lbs. I am happy with it and plan on keeping it.

Had to do a brake job on my 2000 Nissan Frontier. What a feeling - no busted knuckles. I love this thing!

Serves me well in my home shop. It replaced my Craftsman impact wrench that worked great for 23 years. Hopefully this one last as long as the previous one.

I have owned many professional impact guns as a mechanic for 20 plus years. This one far exceeds my expectations. I purchased this for home use but it can easily be used professionally.

I borrowed a title from another review because it is so appropriate. This impact wrench is much more powerful than I expected, yet is is so smooth in its operation. I wish I had purchased it years ago!

Got this impact to work on my truck and friends vehicles on the weekends. Has held up great and broken loose every bolt i have thrown at it. Used it to put a 3 inch lift on this weekend and the impact worked flawlessly. You will need a decent compressor putting out at least 4.7 CFM @ 90 psi (what the gun is rated at). Pancake compressors ain't going to break any bolts loose. Great Impact gun!

Almost to pretty to dirty up, does a great job for my purpose. Tires, stubborn bolts on my boat trailer and swing set. Kinda of heavy in weight but a has a cool grip.

This has turned out to have been an excellent purchase. The darn thing is as pretty as it is rugged and effective. I was skeptical because I'd always gone with a competing brand for my air tools, but this one seemed to make the most sense at the time and for once I was right. Highly recommended!

This impact works great, and has awesome power. It has worked great for everything I have thrown at it. Im Very impressed and also glad I decided to make this purchase. The only bad thing I have noticed is for rusty bolts it has a little too much torque. I had to take the skid plate off my truck to get to the bottom of the engine and the threads came out still attached to the bolt. I learned to be careful with the power this gun has. It would be nice to be able to control the torque in reverse like you can in foreward.
