I had a older 3 wheel drive belt 10 inch band saw, but it was very difficult to change the blade. With this 10 inch band saw it is a pleasure to change and adjust. It is well built with a nice size table with a nice fence and guide.
I am very pleased with this purchase. The setup was really easy with the clear directions received. The blade was not difficult to change the first time I tried. The guide is a very nice feature. Good value for the price.
Needed to replace my 14" Delta Bandsaw. I also needed to save space. This has been the perfect tool. It was easy to assemble. It cut nearly true out of the box. I am impressed with it's power so far. It cut through plywood like butter & red oak easily too. The adjustments are easily accessible and it's really really quiet for what I expected. Unless you're a pro, this tool is perfect for home shops.

Worked great right out of the box. 10 minute set-up was all it needed. I would recommend this to all, especially the hobbyist. Made two sets of 'Ducks' pull toys out of 2X's for the babies the first day. Came out great.
I have had this a couple of weeks and have done quite a bit of resawing and log slicing with this saw. I am very happy with the results, the sawed material need very little planing when finished. I have worked with pine, red oak, hickory, bolivan rosewood and cypress with no trouble. I would have given a 5 star rating had I not needed to do the minimal adjustments changing the upper guide height but it is truly a minor inconvenience as it only takes a minute, or so, to do.
I bought this band saw for my son for his Christmas present. Very fast shipping right to my door with no extra charge. He has already set it up and is using it. So far he loves the product. Seems to be durable and a great tool for the price.
Bought this for my son for Christmas and it seems to be a good saw for the money ($170 w/*************). However, as others have noted, when we assembled the saw and did a test cut, the blade tracking was off. Specifically, the teeth on the blade were hanging off the front of the bottom wheel by at least 1/16" and no amount of fiddling with the tracking adjustment on the top wheel was sufficient to fix the problem. Rather than cart the whole thing back to Sears the day after Christmas, we decided to adjust the tracking on the lower wheel even though there is no suggestion this is possible or recommended in the manual. Basically we loosened the top and bottom bolts hold the axle for the lower wheel in place and then played with them to modify the tilt on the lower wheel. This process is not described anywhere in the manual but by iterating between tweaks to the bottom wheel tilt and the upper wheel tracking adjustment (which is also a tilt adjustment), we got the blade tracking spot on and everything seems to be working smoothly. At this point, with only one day of experience, I would say the saw is fine for the home woodworker and that the tracking issues that some have noted seem to be related to a poor factory adjustment of the lower wheel, or perhaps shifting of the adjustment during shipping.
