I just got back from SEARS - It would be great IF Sears knew what "replacement bits" were compatible! Excellent craftsmanship. Makes chaging bits a pleasure instead of a chore. Just wish you had a quick connect that would handle regular drill bits, and socket,phillips bits. That would be awesome.

The Speed-Lok Quick Connector is something that I highly recommend. It saves time by not having to re-chuck if you change from a drill bit to a screwdriver. You also do not have to remember where your chuck key is if you do not have it connected to your cord (if using a corded drill). This device is also safer to use since you do not have to hold the bit while you tighten the chuck. This eliminates the possibility of the drill being accidently triggered while you are changing the bit cutting your hands or fingers. I built my back deck using my drill with this and I was amazed at how easy it was to change back and forth in the drilling using drill bits and spade bits. I am not sure just how much time I saved, but to me it was significant.

I bought this for myself and loved it; very helpful especially when I'm up on a ladder and don't want 7000 things with me. I bought it for my Dad whose hands were pretty crippled with arthritis and he was able to use it with ease.

I have used this system for years, but had 98% of my tools stolen in 2002 and there were lots of them! With that loss I thought this went with it but I found it just the other day. Like the other reviewer, what is so nice about this is its click feature. With one hand you can pull the slide out, change bits and click it right back in. I recently was using an impact driver by another manufacturer and it was such a pain, especially if wearing gloves, because they use a spring loaded device about have the length of this slide. Of course an impact driver is not going to be something you drill with, but just the same, this works extremely well and is so much easier. I just drove well over 250 3.5" deck screws almost non-stop into some very old and dry wood, and this thing held up just fine. I could not imagine life without one, well I can because I did it since my tools were stolen. Why didn't I get another one? Where I am getting to a Sears is not as easy as it was before.

A true one handed bit changer. This thing is great and it really makes the job so much quicker. Similar products are usually spring loaded requiring both hands just to change out a drill bit. With this little beauty you click it forward, remove the drill bit, insert the screw drive attachment, click it back and you're ready to drive in the screw and you didn't even have to set down your drill. Ah yes, it's the simple things in life.
