Overall

Bigger isn't Always Better...

Before I retired as a Home Builder I used to install the interior trim and cabinets in all of my new homes. I did this, not so much to save money, but to ensure the highest level of quality in these finishing details. I always used Craftsman Tools in my woodworking and continue to do so to this day.

One problem that I always experienced was mounting the microwave under the cabinet above the range top. The cabinet was too short to fit my drill with a normal sized but installed inside. The solution was to drill the 1-1/4" mounting hole up through the bottom of the cabinet. This often resulted in tear out that was visable when the cabinet doors were open. With this stubby size (only 4" long) bit coupled with my Nextec Right Angle Cordless Drill it is no longer an issue.

Progress is a wonderful thing!
