1/4 x 1/2 in. carbide tongue & groove router bit 1/4 in. shank - interchangeable blades with shims to produce both type of cuts. Uniform grain carbide provides outstanding durability. High grade heat treated alloy steel bodies. Bits are face form and relief ground for smooth operation.

Purchased this bit to run Ash Hardwood flooring. Have run around 600 feet so far and bit is still like new. No burns in the wood. Very customizable to fit any application. The boards fit together perfectl and are flat. Was looking at a few other Tongue and Groove bits but decidided to give this one a try and very glad I did.

I ordered the bit in the picture and a different one was sent and the store wasnt interested in returning it. The replacement has the same part number but is a different type of bit. It works fine but if you want this bit dont order it on the internet site

I was needing to match some existing cabinets in my house, specifically "Shake" style cabinet doors. Being someone who always buys Craftsman when ever possible, I was happy to find this bit at my local Sears store. It's made specifiably for the kind of tough & grove joint I needed for my "Shaker style cabinet doors to make. The instructions for change the router bits are easy to read and understand. I've made about 30 cabinet door now with the bits are as sharp at ever. It's well worth the price for what you need, BUY IT!
