    10" table saw w/stand

I have had this saw for several years and it's still going strong. I don't really have any complaints, It has done everything i've needed it to do. Have just about remodled my whole house using it. It's pretty basic, no whistles and bells Price was real right when I bought it. I'm very sure there are alot of bigger, more complicated ones out there, have more whistles and bells and I'm very sure alot bigger price but for what I do at home this one has wored very well over the past several years. It's cut an awful lot of wood.

This durable and reliable saw is perfect for your home projects.

I have been using a Craftsman 10 in. Table Saw for over 10 years now and I have never had any trouble with it. The blades are easy to change and the expandable table surface comes in handy for large projects.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

    Ok for light work.

I have this saw, and in three years, it has went trough, 4 breakers, 2 switches, and 2 motors. With the extended warranty it's been covered, but not a heavy duty saw for everyday hard use.

    good table saw bad service.

I bought this saw as something that would be small and portable but still do everything I needed. It can cut and rip as well as would be expected from a bench top saw, However do not buy this saw if you ever want to dado. While the manual mentions an adapter plate for the dado and how to set up the saw, sears dose not carry an adapter insert. After one wrong part was shipped and trying to explain the problem to a customer service representative in India, barely understanding a word she said, I am completely fed up with sears customer service. The saw performs well but don't expect to find any accessories.

    Excellent Saw At Low Price

I got this saw on sale and clearance for $41. Hard to believe but true. Join the Craftsman club! This little saw is my first table saw and is going to stay in my shop for the foreseeable future. I have built and entire kitchen with it and it works great. Granted, i did upgrade the saw with homemade jigs (fold down outfeed, stand with a drawer for dust removal, zero clearance throat plate, and a cross cut sled). You should read the reviews carefully as the tool is only as good as the person using it. The blade is acceptable but not great. I used a gauge and the run out on mine was .004 out of alignment. (For reference, .005 is the maximum tolerance in my opinion.) You should upgrade the blade. The blade is the most important part of the saw. I upgraded to a Forest WoodWorker 2, which cuts through wood like butter as compared to the general blade this comes with. I also have a Craftsman 40 multi purpose blade that cuts very well but only costs half of the Forest. The blade is made in Italy. Hard to believe these days. Anyhow, my only complaint about the saw is it the fence doesn't lock straight, so you have to measure the fence relative to the front and back tooth of the installed blade so you don't burn the wood on the exit or cause kickback (which obviously is not very safe).

    Great Little Saw

Have owned this saw for several years. The stand has never been out of the box and the original blade has never been used. I wanted a small saw that I could easily carry around for odd jobs and backyard projects(my main tablesaw weighs as much as some families, with a blade that cost as much as this saw does). I really like the blade tilt mechanism which is more like that found on full-sized table saws. I use sharp 24-28 tooth Craftsman blades for most of my cutting and it will handle 2x material pretty well if you don't push too hard (listen to the motor). I use a good quality 40 tooth blade for thinner stock when necessary. Not a con here, but you have to keep in mind that you are using as light weight bench top saw and not that 220V, 5HP machine that guy on TV uses. I often learn more about the reviewer than the product when I read user reviews. If you see smoke coming from the saw, you are using a dull or damaged blade that should be replaced immediately. That new blade will be cheaper than a new motor.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
