I am a do it yourselfer and always try to outfit my garage with tools made right here in the USA. I have used these after using far inferior hacksaws and man it makes you appreciate the simple design that works well, gets into tight spaces with it's compact design, great ergonomic grip limits fatigue, and it is Made in the USA, bottomline is it is not as flashy as the others on the shelf but it works and that is why you buy it.

Craftsman 10-inch Hacksaw 936131 is a well-balanced tool that is a great value for the low-price. I looked at other higher priced 12-inch hachsaws but chose to stay with my first choice. The hacksaw's "handle" is very comfortable to grip and I liked the pistol-grip shape and the durable plastic its made of. Because it takes 10-inch replacement blades, I save more $$$ as opposed to the higher priced variety of 12-blade models available. Overall, I like this model #936131 Craftsman 10-inch Hacksaw and I believe you, who need one, will find it a good addition to your personal tool chest!

I purchased this saw awhile back and I have been very pleased with it the few times that I've needed it. I put it through the ringer making mosquito net frames for some campers at boy scout summer camp by cutting smaller thickness PVC pipes with this saw. It was more than up to the task and I didn't even have to change the blade. I recommend this saw for anyone who does minor projects will small sized PVC pipes or comparable styles of materials. I was more than pleased with the results that I got from this hack saw.

These hacksaws might not look like much but they actually last a long time. It barely fits in an old 17 inch Craftsman metal toolbox. They drop right into a Craftsman 18 inch toolbox and should free-fall into a larger toolbox. Mine has provided incredible blade life also. I have used one for over 30 years and never had a problem with it.
