Very durable, a definite plus to have at home. Comes in very handy when pipes break. unlike the cheaper versions, it has a great grip.

This is one solid tool. Another fine example of Craftsman quality!

I came to visit sears the other day because i could not get the shower head off so that i could replace the old one. The gentleman that worked in the hardware suggested that this pipe wrench would work. And he was definitely right, it came loose really easy.

I bought 2 of these to fix my toilet after my cheap ones fell apart. From time to time i try to buy some cheap tool to save money and I almost always end up buying a Craftsman tool to finish the job that the cheap tools fail. This is no exception. You just can't beat the Craftsman quality.

This tool is very strong and can be used for small jobs around the house. It is heavy and should last a long while. The price seems kind of high seeing as how the 14 oz is less than $1 more. Also mine is red and not crome as the one in the picture.

It was made very well and in the United States of America, It's getting harder to find products made in the U.S.A. and more and more Craftman tools are being produced in China and that is a very bad thing. I was and am willing to pay more for made in the U.S.A., especially for high quality tools like Craftsman or i should say as Craftsman used to be before they started outsourcing to China.

Buy one of these before production moves to China like everything else. Does what it should. No fuss, no muss.

When doing some household plumbing jobs, like working on the water heater, I find myself using this and an arc joint pliers constantly. This is a traditional 10" pipe wrench, with a cast iron handle and steel jaws. For some reason, the picture shows it as a dark gray, almost blackish gunmetal color. Mine is red, and all of these that I've seen are red. I'm not sure why there's a color discrepancy, but don't be surprised if the wrench is red when you find/receive it. Be sure to keep the wrench protected with WD-40 after use, because rust is the enemy of your tools, and keeping them clean and free of rust will extend their useful life. Of course, if you ever have a problem, the forever warranty certainly comes in handy. For those of you seeking a good, sturdy, traditional pipe wrench for around the house, this one fits the bill. NOTE: For professionals, I recommend aluminum handled models like the Rothenbergers. They're lighter, which is good for people using these tools all the time (and having to carry them around).
