I bought this item because it had 10 patterns to choose from. I have owned this item for just over three months and my 5 year old neighbor came over and was helping me water plants. He dropped the sprayer in the grass and the handle broke.

Because of injuries I cannot stand for long periods and water the various parts of my yard and vegetable garden. No worry. The mulltiple patterns available on this nozzle allow me to reach all corners of my yard from one chair in the middle of the patio. The vegetable pots close by? No problem, "mist" allows me to gently water them without dropping the pressure. The orange and lemon trees in the far corner? No problem. The pressure stream gives me a "hard" stream that reaches all the way to the corner of the fence. And anything in between. This nozzle is very versatile.
