Purchased this because I needed a smaller drive socket set. It works and I like that its Craftsman, since I know it will be guaranteed. However the forward/back selector switch is a little loose and tends to get knocked into neutral position when I'm using the wrench with my palm covering the back of it (which is often). Not terrible, but kind of annoying. In retrospect, I'd probably get one of their more expensive sets. Still, if you want an affordable set, this one is okay.

...is all that needs to be said, this is great for me. as a college student i don't need many tools, but i do need some. this works great, got a little confused on putting it on and taking it off at first (never seen that button thing before) and i really like the lock on it. it has a wide enough range for my needs. i also love the compact case that it comes in, great for storage.

This is the best deal sears has. The 10 pc. Socket set and you get the 3/8 ratchet with it! This is cheap and good craftsman quality tools. You cant beat it!

i was lucky enough to get this made in the u.s.a product on line .......... the sockets are great how ever i am not 2 happy with the 36 teeth ratchet it makes it hard to start a bolt that is hard to reach where u can not use both hands because if there is not enough thread started there is not enough resistance to make the ractchet system work

The Craftsman socket wrench sets are tough, reliable plus have a life-time warranty. The sockets have a nice chrome finish and the 6 pts provides a good fit to the fastener. The ratchet is not Craftsman's top of the line low profile ratchet but it works well. This 10 pc socket set could be a small portable set or great starter set for the beginner who will probably move up to larger sets over time.
