Worked great to removed oil drain plug
I bought this set after a bolt extractor set failed to remove a rounded oil drain plug. After drilling a hole in the drain plug the screw extractor was easily screwed into the center of the drain plug. My only complaint is that there is nothing included to use to screw in the extractor. However the extractor bit into the drain plug superbly and after rigging a tool to turn the extractor it easily broke the drain plug free. I highly recommend this tool.

I thought this set was okay.

I put these extractors through quite a bit and it did not bust.  It didn't work for the application I was using, but that was not the tools fault.  I busted the head off a screw on an old pick up truck and wanted to extract it using this item.  Turns out, the screw had been welded some time ago and I just couldn't extract it.

So, I think that this product would be just fine for any ordinary application, but it was just not working for this particular problem.

By the way, I think there is a bigger kit and I would probably recommend purchasing the bigger kit.

Nice set

Overall, this is a great set. Just don't expect industrial strength. It is ideal for home and light-to-medium garage work. The weakness here is actually in the smaller drill bits, but most people know that drill bits break, and are ready to replace them as they do.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Got one Star because it can't get zero

Junk, garbage, don't buy this ****. This made in China garbage broke while trying to drill out the hole. Now, I not only have a screw stuck where it was before, I also have hundreds of dollars of damage to the body work on my motorcycle where the broken bit hit the fairings and damaged them. Oh, and that was the second bit that broke out of that set, neither of them drilled in far enough to even think about being able to use the extractors. I've had better luck with tools from the cheap guys who are honest about buying their stuff from china.

Perfect Gift

This was a great kit for the money. Our nephew was borrowing ours all the time, so we bought this for him.

Worked great

This set is nicer and sturdier than the set that this replaced. I broke the one I had and this one didnt skip a beat and just bit and torqued it out. I recommend this over all others

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Last Craftsman tool I'll buy

Made in China. No warranty. Broke before removing even one bolt. Barely any torque on the middle sized extractor bit and it snapped. Drill bits are not left hand threads. Useless. Now I get to extract an extractor and a bolt.
