Worked great to removed oil drain plug
I bought this set after a bolt extractor set failed to remove a rounded oil drain plug. After drilling a hole in the drain plug the screw extractor was easily screwed into the center of the drain plug. My only complaint is that there is nothing included to use to screw in the extractor. However the extractor bit into the drain plug superbly and after rigging a tool to turn the extractor it easily broke the drain plug free. I highly recommend this tool.

These are ****!
This is a great set of tools to have if you are looking to create work. I have broken all but one of these trying to remove stuck bolts. They are made of extremely brittle steel. More like pretzel sticks than tools. The big problem comes in after the extractor breaks off in the bolt you are trying to remove. Now you have hardened steel to remove. They are junk. Of course they are made in China, where all the **** comes from. Buy American (you get that Sears..Sell American)

Very poor. Broke very easily.

I love craftman tools because of their lift time guarantee And their stuff is usually made really well. But this easy out set wasn't made very well and i don't think it's covered under the guarantee. The first day my husband used it, he broke one easy out and one drill bit. I would recommend spending the extra money and buying a better one.

Craftsman 10 Pc. Screw Extractor Set

I have to agree with most statements concerning this set and that they fall apart on first use. Save your $18! The one statement I cannot agree with is the statement that all Craftsman tools are made in China. Point of fact, they are not. There is still a large quantity of the hand tools that are US made.

Drill bits better than ez out

This kit isn't bad. The extractors don't have sharp edges so it's hard to get them to bite. The drill bits are awesome though. They drill hardened bolts no problem.

worthless extractors

These chinese extractors are pure junk. They break without putting any force on them. Mine broke as I was inserting into the hole and stuck. I was not able to remove broken extractor due to location of screw and extractor was too hard to drill out. I broke most of the drill bits trying to remove extractor. DO NOT BUY! I wish I had taken time to read reviews before purchasing. NOTE All Craftsman tools are now made in China - Beware!

Handy kit

The Craftsman brand is generally a better product than allot of the other junk out there. The extractors seem to be a little harder and stand up to more abuse. The drill bits are just ok. Standard (HSS)

I would recommend this product to a friend.

The extractors were fine the drill bits were too brittle.

All the drill bits broke within the first few minutes of use.I bought new cryogenically process bits, much better.

Worked

I had a brass drain plug stuck in an alloy block it required a huge amount of force to remove and the large extractor did the trick.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
