Craftsman  10 pc. Screwdriver Set

I can't imagine what these two guys are doing who say these break, or "snap in 2". Are you using a sledge hammer on them? I've been using them for years - even though I liked the previous design better - with the smaller cap on top of the handle. But if you are snapping these, then you are seriously abusing them. I use these EVERY DAY working in industrial maintenance and I've never had one break unless a co-worker borrowed one and hit it with a hammer. I've only had to buy a second set because I lost one and two others were stolen out of my toolbox. As for the guys who are snapping them: Did you forget that they have a lifetime warranty? Even if you break them by abusing them, you can get them replaced under warranty (which I don't agree with - I wouldn't do it but Sear's does).

The set looks great but the octagonal grip on the shaft slips around on the shaft not allowing a good grip to turn tight screws. Only a small portion of the handle is securely fixed to the actual screw driver shaft, a little section towards the top and a smaller section on the bottem. Not sure what the designer was thinking. ??

One by one these screwdrivers snap in 2.  They should be listed as light use only.  Very poor quality plastic results in not being able to loosen tight screws or tighten screws so they are snug.  If so, "snap", you instantly have a useless screwdriver.  Hopefully they will improve the quality.  If not, these should not have the Craftsman name!

These are getting hard to find in stores. The last couple sets I bought before these were from Amazon. The quality could be better for the price. Several years ago you could buy a set like this and they would last a couple years, now they only last about 6 months, use them a lot in PC/Laptop/iMac repairs. I wish I could find a great quality set, but for now these will have to do. Maybe if they get of these mediocre reviews, they bring back the quality. I don't think they are made in the USA, if they are, same on us.

These screwdrivers didn't last a year. I had 3 of them snap in half with only minor pressure. I think the plastic weakened over the year, and they became brittle. Rubber finger comfort grip slides making it hard to put torque on the screw. Made in USA by the cheapest place Sears could find.

You will love the handsome styling of this tools as well. Each screwdriver is color coded to make it easy to indentify a slotted, phillips, torx, etc.

If buy this set, and I hope you will, you won't be making the same costly mistake I made. I looked at the set but thought I only needed a few of the sizes. So I opted to buy them individually rather than this complete set. Well, after seeing how useful they were, I kept returning to the store to pick up more. I now have a complete 24 piece set by it cost me about twice as much as it should have.

I know, dumb!

This set is great if you need to work on electronics and don't know what size screwdrivers you need.  I suppose it would be nice if this set came with a storage pouch. 

Seem like good screwdrivers.  Love the lifetime warranty.  I noticed after getting them home that the top rotation part of a few of them wouldn't turn extremely easily.  I fixed that easily by taking the tops off and scrapping the surfaces to be a little smoother.  The other concern is that there is a middle grip that can rotate with a little force, but these shouldn't be ever be used with much force anyway so that shouldn't matter
