Excellent set if they are the same as mine with 20 years of use.

I have had the Craftsman 10 pc. Standard Combination Ignition set for 20 plus years. I do not know if it is because I have had them for so long but I strongly disagree with the negative reviews I have read about them. The set I have is perfectly balanced with no spurs or other defects. I have used the set to fix numerous items around the house and in my shop. They have proven themselves to be strong enough to loosen stuck bolts on my kids bicycles with little problem fitting into the tightest of spots. I hope the set that I have is still being sold and not some cheap knock-offs that appears to be the case with the negative reviews.

Poor Quality
I recently purchased these to do some work on my truck. When the 7/32 wrench wouldn't fit on the bolt yet a 7/32 socket would i knew something was up. I looked at it and it was poorly finished as there was a piece of excess metal there. I looked closer and the other end was poorly rounded from where it was cut from the mold, and the side was rough as if never been sanded or polished. I looked at all the other wrenches and noticed similar flaws. Very poor quality for craftsman. Spend the extra money and make sure you get quality. Not trash.

quality is the key

when using micro wrench's like these the quality of the product will make the difference in cleanly removing a nut or rounding one off.

Godd stuff. Can't find these (or similar) anywhere except at Sears

Great set of wrenches for small nuts and screws. Excellent for R/C hobbies and such. I could not find such small sized wrenches anywhere. The price is reasonable and the quality is very good. Chroming was excellent but some stamping of the blanks (before chroming) has surpious material (like when you are building a plastic model and you tear off a part). However, it's on an outside surface so it has no affect on usage. The wrenches are made pretty hefty and durable.

Supply Chain errors?

Received this item as part of a larger set (Item 946935), and it didn't even come with the right sizes. Received two 1/4" and two 5/16" wrenches, while missing the 3/8 and 15/64 wrenches. Local sears will have to order a replacement set for me. These wrenches are obviously stamped instead of forged, only the 3/16 and 5/32 are not machined on the box end, but none in this set were machined on the open end. Even the outsides of the wrenches have ridges and pimples left over from the stamping process. At $20 for a set of ten small wrenches made in the USA, I would expect far better quality.

Standard wrench set

O also own several sets of these wrenches and they have been outstanding work horses for me. I have had my standard sets well over 15 years and they have been great for me. i feel they are of good quality size and fits into my hands just right. they have not yet failed me yet. I work on my kids bikes and use them when working with my wood projects as well.

Very Good Quality Wrenches

A number of years ago I had purchased the metric version of this set, I now needed the SAE version and was very happy to see that Sears still carried these wrenches. The wrenches are small, but very high quality. I have not found a similar set that even comes close to the quality of these wrenches. Well worth the money, if you need wrenches in this range of openings and overall size.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

BEWARE OF ANNONYMOUS REVIEWS AKA CRAFTSMAN-FEED

If you are reading this review I want you to know that I am an avid Craftsman fan and consider mysdelf somewhat of a tool expert. I wouldn't put much faith on the negative reviews about this set which were down-loaded from the Sears.com site and migrated here. Almost all CRAFTSMAN-FEED reviews are negative.

I have found these little wrenches to be exactly what is needed to get into tight spaces. The fit and finish matches those I've experienced with other Craftsman Full-Polish wrenches. My only advice is that you should purchase the complete set which includes 49 various styles and sizes. They price for the entire set is $49.

Good luck and happy wrenching!

Great for small bolts in tight places

Craftsman 10 pc. Standard Combination Ignition Wrench Set  is a must have set for anyone that has a shop or does home repairs. There was a special at my local Sears store & I thought, why not, so I picked up a set. I thought that I would use them on those rare instances where you would need a super small wrench. I soon discovered that I would use this wrench set more than I had realized. I use them in my shop on small engine repair and I have used them in the house and they even work fine on minor electronic repairs. I have read some of the negative reviews for these wrenches & so far, I have not had these issues.   Craftsman 10 pc. Standard Combination Ignition Wrench Set has been a fine addition to my tool chest. Now you have to remember, these are for small repairs and small fasteners. They are not intended to use as pry bars and such type things. I use these when I cannot get a socket in a tight spot & need a way to loosen bolts without rounding them off by using pliers or such type items. They come in a handy little storage pouch to keep them together while they are in your tool box. This storage pouch also has a snap to keep them from falling out. I use a small metal D-hook to hold them together so that I can quickly grab the size that I need & just unhook the wrench I want. I would recommend tthis set to my friends or anyone that has the need for a good set of wrenches for small fasteners.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Very poor, sloppy or too tight fit. Look elsewhere

The open-end wrenches are rounded in just about every way, and some have spurs of steel that make them too small to fit. even the largest 7/32 wrench will not fit on a nut. I have high precision machined fittings so I am certain that the bolts are not to blame. The wrenches' thick chrome plating probably makes things worse, by rounding all the surfaces and making the metal thicker.

These are the worst made wrenches I own, and that includes cheap wrenches stamped out of sheet metal. I am amazed that these are sold as Craftsman, and not their value tool line. Unfortunately, it is hard to find ignition wrenches that go this small. Look for other brands on the web, especially if you don't need sizes smaller than 7/32.

If you are tempted to buy these, open the package and look at the surfaces.  They are crudely molded and have not been machined to fit.  I think I will try the Sears Item# 00944778000 Model# 44778 open end set (hoping they are better), or more likely their Armstrong brand sets.
