These are strong and durable unlike the cheap import knock offs you see around.

I bought these Crowfoot wrenches for those spaces where nothing else will do. I have used these and a metric set that I purchased previously and they worked flawlessly. They are great quality tools that have a excellet warranty

I was helping a friend tune up his Chevelle. We had swapped out the plugs and added new wires to the new distributor cap and we checked the ignition timing. We noted that the timing was off a little, not by much but enough that he wasn't putting as much power to the pavement as he could have. I reached over and grabbed a 1/2 in socket and extension only to find that the electronic ignition distributor he installed was a bit in the way. There was nowhere near enough room to swing a standard wrench and I don't have the money to buy ratcheting wrenches so I pulled out a crows foot and attached it to the six inch extension and loosened things up. We finished setting the timing and I took hold of my crows foot assembly and cinched it all down to proper specs. While it is a specialty set, it is only that because of special needs and trust me, if you work on cars enough, you'll know what I mean! Great value and very handy little tools!

Working in aviation these wrenches are a must have. Aerospace engineers design aircraft parts to be as small as possible to conserve weight and space which inturn save fuel for carriers, but inturn cause headaches for the techincians working on them. Using these wrenches have saved a bunch of busted knuckles over the years. I whole heartedly recommend that crowsfeet be in any aviation or auto technician toolbox.

Sometimes the designer of a car and other item doesn't seem to give much thought to making it repairable. In fact, there have been occassions when it appears that they go out of there way to make it difficult to repair an item. It's almost as if the are saying, Ha Ha - we are smarter than you! Well, maybe so! They are not smarter, however than the tool design geniuses at Craftsman. If you spend much time looking through the Craftsman Mechanic Tool offerings, you'll find all sorts of unusual and uniquely designed tools. Each of those tools was developed to fill a specific need. This is the case with this collection of Crows Foot Wrenches. The were developed to reach fasteners that the automotive designers tried to hide. Designed to work in conjuction with a ratchet and extension bar, these wrenches can go where no other tool can. Before you rush out to buy this set of tools you need to ask yourself if you perform serious mechanical work. These wrenches are not necessary for common house-hold repair. Professional and serious D-I-Y types will appreciate them though.

What do you do when the fastener you need to reach is way down in a valley and is surrounded by other parts or the engine casting? Well, look for a crows foot attachment. They are somewhat awkward to use, do not offer the best leverage, and can come loose is hard-to-reach places. But you still need to have a set of these because nothing else will do the job in tight places. There are some specially shaped crows feet available in the marketplace but my experience suggests the open end version is the most useful. I would suggest that you add the metric set if you are working on metric fasteners as well. While you can use SAE tools on most metric fasteners you want to best fit possible when using crows feet. This are one of the best tools that I have ever used. Especially helpful when pulling distributors from engines. I highly recommend these Craftsmen wrenches for anyone who uses metric wrenches a lot of the time. If you are looking for a great tool at a great price and ones that stand up to heavy use, these are the wrenches for you!

For something that you only need once in a while, these are a great deal, they are a little bigger than Snap-On's, I guess due to the steel, but they saved me over 150.00 and that means a lot, when I have only needed a couple of them a few times, but it's nice to be able to afford to have the right tool on hand when you need it.

I have been needing these for a long time and other mechanics were tired of me borrowing theirs. (And I was tired of asking to borrow them). Typical good Craftsman quality for the amount I paid. My only complaint is that there is no 15/16. (which I knew before I bought them). The set goes from 7/8 to 1 inch skipping 15/16.
