After a single weekend use of the hose (only watering the lawn perhaps 4 times for about an hour each occurance) the hose burst about 25' from the end. I will be taking it back to the store tomorrow to upgrade to something with higher quality. Not at all what I expected from Craftsman.

This is a decent hosecat a good price. All i can ask is for value to equal dollars spent and this hose takes care of that. The hose does kink a bit more often than it should. I havent seen the burst type issues that others have complained of. I bought the rubber version of this hose and it does cost more but is nicer. You get what you pay for.

I just purchased this hose and turn it off at the house, every time I'm done. Which is why I was shocked, when I was using it and it burst a few feet from the spray nozzle. I went back to the store, but they told me I had to go to Lodi, NJ, to have it repaired. There is no way I'm going to drive to Lodi, which is more than an hour drive. So, not only was I very disappointed in the fact the hose was only used a few times and burst, but also, the fact that they refused to replace it. I've owned many hoses, and I have never had this issue, even with ones that my kids would forget to turn off at the main water supply. This is a serious safety issue, as the amount of pressure and the wide spray amount was pretty powerful and if it was a senior citizen or a little child, they could get hurt.

Got this hose on sale. I had the hose outside and used it once. The hose burst within 40 days of purchase. 1 week actual usage and it was in April, when the sun isn't even that hot yet. Its a garbage hose. Stick to craftsman. Sears did give me a new hose to replace this one, which I am sure will burst in the future as well.

After three uses we took it and returned because all it does is kink and sepperate where it kinkes. Do not purchase this hose unless you like to drive back to the store and return or exchange it.

This hose bubbled up and burst after less than 3 weeks of use. Great price for a 100' hose, but the quality is questionable after the 'outburst'.

used this hose twice, normal water pressure to water flower gardens, normally used 2 50 ft hoses, well this formed 2 stress bubbles, truly disappointed thought craftsman products were supposed to be good
