In short, this does what it is supposed to do. Another consideration is that even though this lead light is made for incandescent light bulbs which will be soon banned by the federal government, the rough-service incandescent bulbs are exempt from the ban, which is really what works best in a lead light anyway. The outlet in the handle lets you use this as an extension cord as well.

When it's dark outside and your're under a car with lights over you...it's dark under the car. Bring in the Craftsman drop light and see what you're doing! Maybe then that bolt you thought was a cross member bolt will be instead of the drain plug! I also found out that when you have to reinstall the mower deck on your Craftsman riding mower this light is real handy then, too!
