AMAZING!!!
I received this fine miter saw as a birthday gift and I must say that this is a fantastic saw! I am very impressed with it overall. The laser light is sleightly off (16th of an inch) but very easily manageable. I have used it several times now and it has never one failed. Bevel cuts are dead on! Blade change is very easy. The safety guards that are in place are awesome. Light weight and very easy to handle and move. Reading some of the lower rated reviews and seeing complaints about the bevel not on made me laugh. I measured all angles and they are very accurate.....none are off. If you want a great miter saw at a great price then this is a perfect choice! I have had other miters by dewalt, ryobi, and skill. This craftsman stands up with them all. This product proves that you don't need to spend hundreds of dollars for a great tool. Don't think about getting this......GET IT!!! You won't be dissapointed.

dangerous saw

This is the second time using this saw and today the trigger pull assembly broke. It is held on with 2 bolts and a very, very cheap plastic bracket. This is an inferior, dangerous design as you are applying pressure while lowing the handle/trigger-pull that operates the saw blade. The bracket should be made out of metal. Won't buy another Craftsman product from this point on.

Very nice saw for the price

Lightweight and I like the support bar that fits in the end as well as the hold down. My old saw had neither.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Poor quality machine

My model is three years old, just outside the extended warranty... Has maybe 15 minutes of operational use. The handle broke off and is now hanging by the wires. Cheap plastics are to blame to this. The mount should at least been secured or strengthen with metal since it is a pressure point for wear. Very disappointed to spend my money on this kind of 'quality'. While I do not know the quality of the new miters, this is merely a warning of Craftman's lack of quality and thought in this product. But, the blade and motor still function as intended and show no lack in competence when cutting.

Mobility

I have a larger dual bevel miter and it is a bit heavy. I went to sears look for a smaller miter..I both the 10" miter for its mobility. The price great and as always craftsman tools are warranty for 1-5 years depending on the tools u buy.. 80% of my tools come from craftsman. You will like the price.....I always brows the store of websites for good deals from sears tools. Be cool people.

Lightweight, but powerful. A must for DIY projects. The laser feature is a big convenience, and accurate too.

Great miter saw

Very nice miter saw, lots of power, cuts great at any angle. I removed the dust bag and installed a rubber 90 with a hose clamp. The dust bag never worked well on any saw. The lazer is off, but I don't use it anyway. My last Craftsman 10" miter saw lasted 20 years, hope this one last as long.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
