This was an absolute must and has worked to perfection installing a hickory laminate floor.Assembly was quick and easy. Only thing I can say not perfect, as I rip a piece when the piece goes past the back edge of the saw blade it creates some chipped edges. Guess if I knew how to better use it this might not occur, or maybe taping the edge before cutting?

I bought this saw as a new home-owner with basically no clue what I'm doing, but a lot of confidence. I wanted a table saw for whatever came up and this has been a good choice. My first project has been making cedar window screen frames for my home's original windows. I used the saw to rip the boards in half and it performed well after a bit of setup. This saw is really great for a garage as it folds up neatly and doesn't take up much space when not in use, so we can still fit our cars in the garage. As some others have said, the fence isn't that great, but it's workable.
The mechanism that is used to control the blade height binds up and requires force to lower it all the way. There should be a blade cover for the blade when it is at a 45 degree angle, or even less. I do like the stand very much though.
PROS: Good power. Portable and fairly lightweight. Saw will fit thru 30" door. I love the way it quickly and easily collapses down and sets back up again. Very nice! Has long arbor/motor shaft so Dado blades will fit which is a rare feature on a direct drive saw. Even comes with separate Dado blade plate. Has cord, wrenches, miter, push stick, and rip fence storage integrated with saw. These are well thought out features and a big plus for a saw that gets moved around a lot. Has vacuum port to minimize dust. CONS: Lots of plastic, but where it needs to be there are some nice machined castings. To be able to mount my Dado blade I had to trim a sheet metal panel underneath a little so the blade would slide on the arbor. Nothing major but this was a design oversight. The hoop leg with adjustable leveling foot is a very sloppy fit to the main stand and although it is firm when weighted down this was a bit irritating to me so I shimmed the inner tube so it fit more snugly. Issue solved. The Dado blade when mounted is not centered in the table saw slot. This is a big issue with the saw for me. In order to get the dado blade centered I had to machine down the inner flange blade mount (Part# 29) I planned to order another part so that I could just swap the flange mounts (they just slide on and off) depending on which blade I was using. And here is my number one gripe - I was surprised to see the part was not available. As a matter of fact THERE ARE NO REPLACEMENT PARTS AVAILABLE FOR THE SAW AT ALL - NONE! So the saw is really disposable if something breaks or gets lost. Although I am happy with the saw and it works well for what I do this is a disappointment and the main reason I dinged the rating to 3 stars instead of 5.
Equal to all the saws in this range. The portability is the biggest plus. Some parts looks and feel cheap, but seem to be well made and holding up. The fences is my biggest complaint, but there's work a rounds to get pat it's short comings. Wish they had the Pro there to compair, would have spent the extra money for a better fence.

Due to this being in a smallish garage, I needed something that would fold up nicely and this saw fit the bill. It also had good reviews. It was easy to put together and fold nicely for storage.

Super easy setup. Fence was better than the yellow competitor. The 15 amp motor easily runs through rip cuts in soft and hardwoods. I love the easy collapsibility!
We needed a saw that would be easy to take to job sites. This saw is easy to move around both to and from and within the site. I found it very easy to set up and operate. I especially like the laser light that allows you to see your cutting line.

This thing is great. It folds up very easy once you get it figured out. It takes up very little room and has all the features I need.
