Super easy setup. Fence was better than the yellow competitor. The 15 amp motor easily runs through rip cuts in soft and hardwoods. I love the easy collapsibility!
We needed a saw that would be easy to take to job sites. This saw is easy to move around both to and from and within the site. I found it very easy to set up and operate. I especially like the laser light that allows you to see your cutting line.

This thing is great. It folds up very easy once you get it figured out. It takes up very little room and has all the features I need.

I'm not a contractor, so I was not looking for a pro grade tablesaw. I bought this planning on having something decent for hobby use, what I got was a pro grade saw instead. Fence is very accurate and saw cuts very clean and strait. Fully tunable and feels well built. My only complaint would be that I had to go thru and tighten almost every bolt out of the box, doing so really made a difference in precision.
This is a great saw easy set up, very portable with all the features you need for any do it yourself projects around your home. As for the review that the leg stand was missing a welded nut on one side there is only one nut the side with the nut is for the leveling leg requiring a nut the other side is for the fixed leg not requiring a nut this allows the saw to be leveled with no wobble. if your looking for a portable table saw at a great price this is an excelant choice
Used today-nice, its a table saw, for the price, ease of use Im liking it. Assembly is pretty simple though the instructions a bit awkward..My only complaint is the table insert, rather light weight and not quite flat and the way it sets on the screw heads. But it works. On frame storage a nice feature though built in storage for the blade guard would be nice as I wouldn't store with it attached, too easily broke and for the table inserts. Probably attach a small box on frame for storage.
I just purchased 10" Job Site Table Saw while putting the leg section which was simple. I noticed on one leg a welded nut seem strange since the opposite leg did not have a weld spot. Could not put together the leg properly so I have a wobbly table. NOT GOOD. NOT HAPPY. I going to try to return or exchange leg for a good one. Waste of time to now go back to try to correct this or simply return it. SAD! Sears you should do better quality control on your products...
I just got it out of the box so I can't really say anything about the durability or even extended performance. But as a professional contractor I am impressed with what I got for the money. The stand construction is beefy and the saw sets up and breaks down in two seconds. Literally. Two seconds. The saw operation is surprisingly smooth, striong and vibration free, and the blade seemed to work fine ripping an 8' length of 2x4. The dust exhuast port works very well when connected to a vacuum. The fence is not all that great in terms of smoothness, but it's certainly adequate and it was dead on accurate right out of the box. Even with the extension table extended the fence remained accurate. And the lockdown handle stays out of the way when it's unlocked, which surprisingly isn't always the casse with other saws. I am also impressed with the blade adjustment mechanism. It's very solid and precise. No flimsy, wobbly height adjuster here. It's tight and smooth. The blade angle adjustment is gear operated and also works smoothly. Lastly (for now), the mitre gauge slots had me a bit concerned because ther are proprietary T-slots but they will accept a standard 5/8" guide if you choose to use aftermarket accessories. All in all I'm encouraged about this saw's potential and will report back in a few months after I've had a chance to run it through the mill.
This saw is great for the DIY'er. I bought to rip some 1x8x8 boards to make (178) pickets for a fence we are building. After some simple set-up out of the box it was dead on. The 15 amp motor never once even thought of stalling. The ability to fold it up when not in use saves a lot of space. Great saw!! Can't wait to use it for other projects.
