Used today-nice, its a table saw, for the price, ease of use Im liking it. Assembly is pretty simple though the instructions a bit awkward..My only complaint is the table insert, rather light weight and not quite flat and the way it sets on the screw heads. But it works. On frame storage a nice feature though built in storage for the blade guard would be nice as I wouldn't store with it attached, too easily broke and for the table inserts. Probably attach a small box on frame for storage.
I just purchased 10" Job Site Table Saw while putting the leg section which was simple. I noticed on one leg a welded nut seem strange since the opposite leg did not have a weld spot. Could not put together the leg properly so I have a wobbly table. NOT GOOD. NOT HAPPY. I going to try to return or exchange leg for a good one. Waste of time to now go back to try to correct this or simply return it. SAD! Sears you should do better quality control on your products...
I just got it out of the box so I can't really say anything about the durability or even extended performance. But as a professional contractor I am impressed with what I got for the money. The stand construction is beefy and the saw sets up and breaks down in two seconds. Literally. Two seconds. The saw operation is surprisingly smooth, striong and vibration free, and the blade seemed to work fine ripping an 8' length of 2x4. The dust exhuast port works very well when connected to a vacuum. The fence is not all that great in terms of smoothness, but it's certainly adequate and it was dead on accurate right out of the box. Even with the extension table extended the fence remained accurate. And the lockdown handle stays out of the way when it's unlocked, which surprisingly isn't always the casse with other saws. I am also impressed with the blade adjustment mechanism. It's very solid and precise. No flimsy, wobbly height adjuster here. It's tight and smooth. The blade angle adjustment is gear operated and also works smoothly. Lastly (for now), the mitre gauge slots had me a bit concerned because ther are proprietary T-slots but they will accept a standard 5/8" guide if you choose to use aftermarket accessories. All in all I'm encouraged about this saw's potential and will report back in a few months after I've had a chance to run it through the mill.
This saw is great for the DIY'er. I bought to rip some 1x8x8 boards to make (178) pickets for a fence we are building. After some simple set-up out of the box it was dead on. The 15 amp motor never once even thought of stalling. The ability to fold it up when not in use saves a lot of space. Great saw!! Can't wait to use it for other projects.

I purchased its older brother, the model 315, some 15 years ago at about double the price of this unit. I have built a garage, decks, patio furniture and cabinets with it. It has been great, but the router table assembly that came with it has seldom been used. This unit has done away with the router and has some nice accessory storage. If this machine is like the one I have, you will not find a better machine for the money!

I bought this table saw to do some work around the house and have been presently suprised with it. Whether it was the quick set up and fold away option or the many heights of wood that could be cut. ready for any task around the house of in the shop.
i;ve been a carpenter for 35 years and for the money you really can't beat this saw, its a good quality saw i would have to say one of the better one's in its class.

This is a great bargain for the price. I have looked at many of the big name portables for two to three hundred more and this saw is just as good. Been using it to renovate a home and have been very please with the power and performance. The fence is very accurate. the blade raise and lower mechanism is superb even to Craftsman's more expensive models. The blade shroud is mostly metal and not plastic. It is very stable for a portable. I have ZERO complaints for this model. Would recommend it for the armature all way to the Pro. The listing said it is a 1/2 in arbor which is incorrect. It is in fact a 5/8 in.
