  • Retractable Screw Guide Sleeve
  • Dual Material co-molded comfort grip handle
  • 10 Assorted Bits
  • Phillips Bits:  #1, #2, #3

  • Bit Caddie slides onto driver shaft for easy storage

Craftsman 11-piece Mach Series Bit Driver Set
I went to Sears the other day to pick up a wrench and decided to stroll through the best part of the store and check out some of the new tools. I had Jake with me and he hadn't seen the Bolt-On series and he thought that was kind of cool with all it can do. But the one that caught us both was the new Mach series tools. At first, the ratchet system seemed a bit gimicky to say the least. I mean, just pick it up and look it over and you'll know what I mean. Still, it seemed quite stout for the construction and the mechanism worked pretty well. I can only imagine how dirt and grease from an engine compartment might affect the grooves but then, I probably would have this tool set in the boat and not in the garage. The one Mach tool entry Ido like and just can't understand why it took Craftsman so ling to get around to is the bit driver set! For many years I used a Klein version of that kind of driver when Iwas doing to commercial cabling thing and that odd looking driver is a sure time saver and a lot lighter than carrying a drill around! The Mach series though has a unique, shall we say, twist, over the Klein version, and that is that is a break away feature that allows you to add some torque to undoing a screw! I like that. I liked it so much that I bought it!

Driver
The mechanics is poor, the smoothness is rough and jerky. Not suitable for elctrical work. Objects must be stationary. I am returning.

an addition to my too my tool box

This is one of those "when you can't make it with an electric driver and you need a speedy go-to screwdriver" screwdriver. The bit holder doesn't stay on the shaft as it is supposed to do. Other than that it is a welcome addition to my tool box.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

wrong angle on shaft

Thought this would be a one up from my trusty Klein Rapi-drives. The T-handle would be great for more torque. First time I used the Mach Driver , I about broke a knuckle. The handle unlocks and flips sideways letting your hand contact the work surface . Not safe around electricity and downright painful otherwise. You cannot put any pressure on a screw to tighten or remove unless you flip the handle to t- mode. Sorry Craftsman....back to the Klein Rapi-Drives until you put a safety lock on the handle or perhaps change the shaft angle to keep the handle from disengaging. Looked nice....but....no cigar!! Back it goes...........

Great tool for many different projects

This tool works great for many different situations when you need a hand held driver. It also folds at a 90 degree angle so you can get great leverage and torque. Soild addition to any toolbox.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Overall
amazing product

never though would ever buy a driver like this, but the price was more than right and the craftsman name were enough to make me buy this tool, what an amazing tool, makes work so much easier, and with the screw guide, no worry of having to hold the screw being driven, and with multi bits, so versitale, the only negative aspect is the inability of attaching to bit holder to the tool shaft, a very minor problem and has no negative impact on performance, just would have made this tool so much more amazing

I would recommend this product to a friend.

New Design

I saw this and decided to get one. The handle folds down to become a "T" handle so you can really put some torque on the screw. It's a great option where you are afraid of breaking off the screw using an impact.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

11-piece Mach Series Bit Driver Set

Cleaver design but awkward to use. The T-handle feature is great but the fact the grip spins makes this almost useless.

Good design

Since I?ve aged turning a screw driver is not as easy as it used to be. With the swivel design it is much easier to remove and install screws. This swivel design also allows to rotate the handle to achieve to torque require to break the screw loose.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Overall
Nice tool, can speed up certain jobs.

It's a nice screw driver and the build quality seems fine despite the plastic handle. It would definitely be nice if it had a place to store the extra bits though. I'm sure they will get lost quickly now and I won't have them when I need them next.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
