Short Powerful and convenient blower
This blows! It has a much shorter front attachment that actually is more convenient to hold, but reasonably powerful blast that works well. It also comes with a narrow front nose attachment to channel the flow and it is quite powerful and blows real hot air. Still only a few days old so yet to know on its durability which is what really matters at this point. I had a few shop your way rewards to spend and a gift card so did not mind the just-missed $35 deal as price had gone up to $42 from the day earlier. This blower does have variable 2 speeds. so far happy with it. I did not get any free samples to write this but some points for this review.

Motor Doesn't Last Long
I've owned two of these 12 amp models in two years. First time I thought it was a "lemon," so I bought another one because I liked its features and it was lightweight. The second motor burned out ONE WEEK after the warranty expired. The Craftsman brand used to mean quality--not anymore. Unfortunately, I cannot have the same loyalty to Sears and Craftsman that my parents had. Cannot recommend.

Well worth the money

This blower is a great buy for 44. It was light and had both the blower and vac options. The power is great for heavy and light jobs. My brother in law really loved it as a gift too.

Well worth the money

We got this blower on sale for 44.00 during the father's day sale. My brother in law really loves it. He says it has plenty of power and the vac feature is great for leaves. All together it was a great buy.

Great product

My husband loves this. It exceeded his expectations. He purchased this as a replacement for our ancient leaf blower that had just broken. He & my son both said that this one is so much better than our previous one. Our family would highly recommend this product.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Works great for 30 seconds at a time

When operating, this blower works great for blowing pine needles off my driveway. The two speeds are great (low speed is all you need for the dry stuff), and there's a concentrator nozzle you can optionally put on to increase the speed. I haven't had anything to suck up yet, so no opinion on that feature. However, there's a design flaw that will probably make me return this item to the store. The blower only works when the tube is attached, but the "locking" latch is just a flat press button. So, with the vibration from the motor, the button slowly depresses itself and releases the tube after 30-60 seconds!!! The tube falls off and the blower stops operating. Probably would work great with a bit of duct tape, but the falling off tube reduces rating by two stars.

The best bang for your buck blower/vac there is!!!

I got this Craftsman blower/vac for under $40 out the door with my SYWR and can't be happier. Got home and assembled it in less than 5 minutes, and I honestly probably could have done it in under 2 minutes if I were to do it again. First of all, let me warn you! Make sure you also buy a 100ft extension cord, or you might find yourself in a bind like I did! I only had a heavy duty 50ft extension cord, and my yard is not really that big, but I could not get to where I needed because the plug on the side of my house where it is located hinders me greatly. So I had to go out and buy me a 100ft extension cord... Moral of the story? Buy the 100ft extension cord and you will be fine! As for the blower, this thing is pretty good at blowing and vacuuming up leaves as well. I use it to blow my sidewalk and driveway after cutting the grass, and it makes like 100x easier. I like how it has a notch for the extension cord to stay in place and this works very well. Lastly, remember, you can't beat this blower for the super low price to maximum performance ratio. Also, it is nowhere near as loud as a gas blower, which is very nice!!! What are you waiting for? Buy one now!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Like this a LOT

Pretty good blower/vac for the price. I have a smaller yard, so having to keep it plugged in (as opposed to a gas powered one) isn't a real issue. It's powerful enough to blow any of the leaves, grass, etc I have to take care of. It's a little loud, but nothing you wouldn't expect from a blower/vac. The vac/mulching part seems to work ok, but the real test will come later this year when the leaves all fall. Pretty happy with my purchase

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Dangerous!

Was pretty good at first. Then started heating up at the plug and started smoking. Got hot enough to melt the plug. This was with a 12 gauge extension cord, not some cheap cord. Not the only person who has had problems with shorting. I'd think twice before buying one of these.

Great gift

Bought for Father's Day Good quality blower. After looking around at other stores and brands I found this one at a great price. Craftsman is a reliable brand. The only negative is that it needs a power cord that wasn't included

I would recommend this product to a friend.
