My old (14 yrs) Sears wet/dry motor died and it was less expensive to buy this model than a replacement motor. Glad I did -- the detachable blower is very easy and convenient to use. BUT the blower nozzle occasionally blows off - a positive lock would be much better than the friction fitting. And the power cord could be a bit longer (probably also requiring a slightly heavier gauge). Overall great value (especially if it's on sale) but it could easily be made even better.
It is very cheaply made even for its relatively low normal cost of about $80. I got it at a highly discounted price which should make it worthwhile for a basic dust collector. The first problem I found was that the castors fit very losely in their holes.making it impossible to tun it right side up without them falling out. A little bit of tape to shim them up worked. The other disturbing thing is that latches that hold the top on do not actually latch. The top is actualy held by gravity. It is not tight as most vauum cleaners are. The so-called latches do not serve any real function. Maybe something can be done about this. I haven't tried yet. However I intended this as a dust collector in my workshop and do not intend to move it around a lot. With a little duck tape in the right places it should perform its function very well. I do like the fact that I have a choice of filters including a HEPA. If it does it job well I would raise its rating.

Vac works very well, but the wands keep coming apart from each other and the floor nozzle. Replaced a 20+ year old similar vacuum.

I had a smaller or half the size of this unit. Glad I got it. The suction is strong the detachable tools are of good quality and fit. Good commercial grade type for the home garage and potential flooding if any. Great product

This vac is ideal for most jobs around the house. With the 12 gallon capacity it is easy for anyone to move around even going up or down stairs with the unit. This unit has the power to pick up almost anything. Great unit for the price.

I bought this for my Husband to replace our previous Wet/Dry Vac that we had for years & finally stopped working. He really likes this one because it also has a detachable leaf blower. He uses it quite a bit. We're both very happy with this. We buy alot of Craftmen's tools.

Bought one of these and it died after 1.5 years, but I had a extended warranty for like $12 and they sent me money for a brand new one and I bought the same one again and got anther extended warranty. Love this vac. It is way more powerful than my brothers shop vac, and this one cost less. Nice attachments, easy to use, will buy another when this one dies and recommend to all my friends.
