Overall, others give this:
I purchased this wrench set online so that it would save me a trip to the Sears store. When I received it, close inspection of the set showed that I had received two of the same 1/2 wrenches. I had only received 11 different wrenches plus the one duplicate. So, now I will have to go to the store to get everything sorted out.

I read some reviews about these wrenches before I purchased them and the main reason I hesitated a little was because of the fact that the production of these wrenches has been moved overseas. After buying them, and using them, I still feel they are of a good quality. I'm not a professional mechanic but I put them through a good torture test and they performed just as good as the "Made in USA" wrenches to me. The only reason I gave them four instead of five stars is because the finished machining on the ends is not as good as the old USA wrenches, but the strength still seems to be there.
I bought these for daily use in my companies manufacturing shop. Some of my guys are not as nice to our tools as others and these are holding up really well. Full size range means not needing to purchase individual wrenches. I love these Craftsman wrenches.
I really like this set. I have had a set of the standard and metric versions for over 15 years. As a home do it yourself mechanic, I use these all the time. I really like this finish over the solid chrome ones so I find these to be a great set. I just bought a second set as I now have two garages and don't want to carry them back and forth between.
The wrench set was exactly what my son wanted to expand his tool box. The lifetime replacement makes it awesome.

I received this toolset for Christmas and the finish looked cheap. I looked on the box and they say they are made in China. I compared to my older Craftsman wrenches that are the same except metric. Those are made in the USA and say so on each wrench. The finish is much better on my old wrenches. I also looked very closely at the working end of the wrenches with a double pair of glasses. The new Chinese Craftsman wrenches were noticeable of lesser quality. Some of the box ends were not centered correctly so some of the walls were thinner than they should be. Some of the open end surfaces had imperfections. Based on looking at them I can tell that the manufacturing process is poorer than it should be. If you can look at a wrench and see things that are wrong it doesn't give you much confidence that the parts of the wrench that you can't see, such as the quality of steel, the hardening process, etc are up to par. I am going to return these wrenches and use the money to buy some wrenches from somewhere else. I used to like Craftsman because they are made in the USA and have a lifetime replacement policy. The tools at ********** and ***** have the same replacement policy now and it is a lot more convenient going to one of those stores than the mall where Sears is. I'll look into their wrench sets to see if they are any better. I suspect they are made in China as well but maybe they are better made. I just can't stomach having the cheaper Craftsman wrenches sitting in the same drawer as my older better quality Craftsman wrenches, and frankly, it made me mad enough to write this honest review.
