This is a pretty good handy case, I use it to carry only a few tools I need for a small job so I don't have to bring the whole toolbox. It fits behind my seat in my truck nicely. I also use it to store loose tools that didn't come with a case. I had one before and the latch eventually snapped off from opening and closing after many many years. It's was no big deal, I bought another one because nobody else makes this case, quality is good.

I've owned one of these boxes for about 8 years -- it's just right for a 1/4" socket set: standard and deep sockets on rails, couple of different size wrenches, extensions, adapters, etc. (standard or metric but not both at the same time!). The latch is strong enough to stay closed if the box gets bumped around a bit, the hinges are strong and it's easy to clean. What's not to like?

I bought several of these to store tools with many pieces in my workshop tool set. You can store a wide variety of tools in them and they don't take up too much room. The first one was used to store my Craftsman 946906 Gear Puller in, and the second one was used to store my Craftsman 947397 Retaining Ring Pliers in. These tools have a lot of small parts that really need a storage box. You can also use one to store a full set of 3/8" drive deep sockets, a ratchet, extensions, and universal joint. They roll around a little but it is a good solution to a storage problem.

I bought one of these for my daughter. I had an extra ratchet, socket, and miscellaneous tools that I put in this. It's inexpensive, sturdy, and compact. I have had on for a long time and like the durability. It's compact enough to keep in the kitchen drawer.
