I had two low tires that needed to be inflated to thirty-five lbs and this Craftsman Drive did the job even it had 30 psi stamped on it. Saved me a hauling fee.
Listen folks,I always thought that Sears was a sign of quality but not this time, this compressor is a piece of JUNK.It stalled out at 40 psi and that was the end of that ,back in the box and back for a refund ,don't be fooled it truly is junk.Maybe if it was made in America it be different but its Chinese.
I bought two. One for my bicycle tires, and one for our car. Both units stall between 40 and 45 psi. Car tires - yes, 70 or 110 pound bicycle tires - forget it! It's piston is very small, and as a result has really slow delivery rate. Obviously the department purchase representative did not actually try one, and relied on the stated specs that come in the manual, which states "max PSI output - 130 PSI". No way! I guess that means that if it delivers anywhere between 0and130 PSI - it passes the statement! Sorry Sears, I really used to value the Craftsman brand, but it really misses all my needs here!
I just bought it yesterday, but used it to top off tires on 2 cars plus inflate a compact spare tire from 0 PSI. Topping off tires worked great so far. Cord is long enough to reach spare tire without removing it from the trunk on my compact car. Spare tire says to inflate to 60 PSI. As it got close to 60 PSI, it started to struggle, then it stopped completely @ 60 PSI. I turned it off, then back on again. It just locked up again. I don't know if I have a dud, but I guess I only need for it to inflate to 60 PSI anyway. It inflated the compact spare in roughly 5 minutes, being that the tire is compact. As other reviewers mentioned, I assume inflating a large tire would take a long time from 0 PSI. Also, manual says to let the inflator rest for 10 min after 10 min of continuous operation.

I had a cheap very noisy one that took forever to fill tires, but it worked. However, my kids always borrowed it, so I bought all 3 of them one of these Craftsman for Christmas. All 3 and including myself like this one very much. I just ordered another one for me so I don't have to borrow theirs or use my noisy one. After about 10 min. it does get hot but they all do, just shut it off and wait 10 min if you still need to use it. It is quick, quit and fast. We are all pleased with this model.

Strong and quiet. It tops off my tires. Using it as a backup for my motorcycle tire. 10mins on/10mins off or it will overheat, so not sure it will hold up on a big flat tire. I'm happy with it.
The tires on my wifes car are always going low whenever it is cold overnight. I have a dinky inflator but it takes half an hour to do one tire. I thought this product would solve that. It is well built, sturdy, but the first time I used it, the fuse blew in the car and it fell silent. So if it is unable to fill my tire, it is useless. Just got back from returning it.
