As expected the larger drill bits were fine, but the smaller ones were extremely fragile. The larger bits hold their edge pretty well and have gone through everything from wood to the steel on my boat trailer. I think the plastic case feels pretty cheap, though.

I used this product with my craftsman drill to drill hole in wooden beams and drywall. It gets the job done. I haven't tried it on tougher material, so I'm not sure how it will hold up in the long run, but we'll see. On sale, it was a good buy.

Why have a nice drill bit set in a case that is hard to manipulate? I find the design for the storage of the drills makes it hard to remove the bits. Does it or does it not tilt out for easy removal? Beats me. Don't want to break it. All my other drill storage sets tilt up and out. Maybe if you buy the larger set it will be in a more user friendly storage box. Not user friendly in this configuration. Bits work fine and I needed them for drilling in a stout metal security door- no problem- and a solid core wood door. Worked fine and liked the versatiltiy versus the black oxide which would have worn out on the metal door. Didn't need the cobalt bits which were strictly for metal. These allowed me to work on both materials without changing bits or worrying about ruining them.

The drill bits work very well on all materials I have tried them on, as well the case comes with a storage compartment on one side which is a nice convenience to have.
