I purchased the Craftsman Saw Guide for my new Nextec 3 3/8" Circular Saw, but did not even think about using this set on my other tools until I got to the shop. This saw guide set also fits my Craftsman Orbital Jig Saw, my C3 Jig Saw, and my Craftsman 7 1/4" Circular Saw. Sweet! Multi-uses on multi-tools and all for less than $10 bucks. The edge guide is very easy to attatch and to remove on each of my tools. My only bad thinking of this set, is the plastic base and not sure how durable it is going to be, but guess I can't do too much complaining for $10 bucks. If you install the guides correctly, then the set keeps you saw pretty square to the edge. I physically installed this set on each of my cutting tools jut to see if it would really fit all of them and they all fit great. So, when I thought I was getting something for one tool, I was pleasantly supprised to find they will work with all of my tools. Well worth the $10 that I spent...

This tool was recommended in my carpentry book. I have needed it before and I am sure I will use it in the future for next projects. I recommend to have it.

Does what it's intended to do. I agree with those who would like to see this as all metal. But still functional. You just have to slow down your cut a bit. If you try to zip through at full speed the cut does not end up very straight.

Couldn't find the guide for my circular saw, and my guides from other saws would not fit, so I bought this set instead of one specific for my saw, that way I would have a guide for about any other saw I may purchase in the future if I need it. It was a great decision. Only thing is the one I used for the circular saw was a little narrow and the next size up was just a bit too wide to fit, but the one I used worked for the moment. You can have a guide to fit severa; saws for just a couple of bucks more than what just one would cost for one particular saw. A good purchase. Quality made.

I like the fact that the guide fits several craftsman saws I have. It is made to fit other brands and has clamps and screws to do that. The metal parts are sturdy but it is to be seen how the plastic part of the guide will hold up.
