This set is very handy to have. The quick lock system has now became a staple to me. Can you even drill with out quick lock anymore? Excellent for around the house. Able to hold something in place with one hand, drill a pilot and switch to a screwdriver bit with the other. Haven't had any break on me.

I was looking for a 1/4" drill bit to mount a set of vertical blinds in the new house. I had the Sears quick lock system and found it very useful; I found a single 1/4" drill bit that i needed, but continued to check out all the other drill bits accessories, and came across this handy box of drill bits. Being a guy, if one bit is good, then a whole box of very useable drill bits must be a lot better! lolol. The price was a tad more, of course, but very reasonable. And the drill bit worked like all Craftman tools - Top Notch!

A very useful addition to any power driver that uses 1/4" hex bits. I mainly use this bit set when I need to drill pilot holes for screws or wall anchors. It saves me the bother of having to bring along a drill - this way one power tool does the work of two. I like the case that the bits come in. While the bits could have been packaged in a smaller case that had them packed in tightly, this case trades off taking up more space in order to provide ease of access and easy location of the bit that you want. The only reason I knocked off one star is because the smaller bits seem to be a bit flimsy. They flex excessively in use, even when only moderate pressure is used while drilling into medium wood. While it's better that they flex rather than snap, I would have been happier if the small bits were made with a stronger steel. Otherwise, a perfect addition to my toolbox.
