Good bang for the buck
This saw is great for the price! I had bought a table saw from ************** and it was garbage( as, apparently, all HF power tools are). This was nicely designed w/ it's own stand. I read reviews on this saw before I bought, and it always kills me that people buy an entry level power tool and expect it to perform like a precision surgical instrument under comercial industrial use. I bent one of the stand rails when I put my foot on it, it's not sturdy enough for that, but I love that it at least comes w/ a stand and the accessories are easy to use and remove. I recently bought a cheap set of dado blades and the saw performed great as long as I didn't try to cut more than 1/3 " at a time. I like that the blade guards form a thin rectangle that can be used to line up the cut. If you're a professional or a master craftsman, you will probably need a lot more saw, but if you are a weekend warrior like me, this will probably do the job.

Very Poor Quality

I bought this after seeing the decent reviews left by others. Once it finally arrived at the local store, I took it home and assembled it. I was dissappointed before I even used it. The table top is not cast aluminum; it's thin sheet metal with flemsy support grids welded under it. The table top was also not very flat and had a sag to it on the right side. After using it to rip 12 2x4's, the blade was missing 4 of its carbide teeth. The miter guage is very loose in the grooves and would be useless if precise cuts are desired. The power seemed OK.

Great price.

I had a craftsman table saw for many, many years. It finally died in the middle of a project. I went to my local Sears (Toms River, NJ) and purchased a new saw. It was on sale!!! I think it much heavier than my old one and it works great! I was able to finish my project.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

No complaints .. It does what I need it to do :o)

On the plus side, it's easy to put together and of reasonable quality for the occasional project. It's not designed for serious use but it's still not a bad saw for the money. For what you get, I gave it a 5. My only beef with the saw is possibly a design flaw. The blade bevel adjustment and height adjustment seem a little close together, but it doesn't seem to take anything away from the saws functionality. I was a little reluctant to buy it initially because I was concerned about the stability of the base. It turned out not to be an issue. The base turned out to be quite stable. One more thing I found out that I liked about it is that it doesn't come with the weight baggage of higher priced more expensive saws. That makes it easier when it comes to mobility and moving it around from one location to another or loading it a vehicle. It doesn't weigh 20,000 lbs and shouldn't require a team lift to move. I like the saw for what I use it for and will probably upgrade eventually, but for now this works for my needs.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great Purchaes

Getting ready to retire and needed a small, portable table saw for woodworking hobby and projects. This saw was the right size for my needs. The price was fantastic and the features are exactly what I needed. It was very easy to assemble and the capacity of the various cuts meets the small projects I enjoy doing. I am not a skilled carpenter, but I can very easily use this saw.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Will Do The Job

I bought this saw because I have a small shop and needed a table saw that I could store away when not in use. This saw is small and light. This is my first table saw. I got it home and started to assemble it. The stand went together OK, the saw mounted onto the stand easy enough, the rest of the assembly was a nightmare. The instructions where very hard to follow and referenced parts by name without showing any form of picture of the part. I have been unable to find something called anti kickback pawls. The plastic guards don't seem to fit anywhere. The instructions say to put a pin into this hole and push a button to lock the guard into place. It just sits there and comes off very easy. I finally figured it out and now the guard is secure. The fence needs to be tweaked into alignment every time you adjust it. The table guide is out of alignment and sloppy in the track. I did a test cut after aligning everything and it cut well enough The saw is very cheap and flimsy but will work for what I need it to do. All in all this saw is cheap but will work for light work. The instructions are difficult to follow and assembly is hard. Good chance there will be parts missing from the box.

not built to last

A 15amp saw is a great deal for $140 unless it breaks down prematurely. After little over a year of using this saw on an infrequent basis (probably fewer than a dozen hours of use) the motor burned out. This would not be such a problem if the motor was available as a replacement part, but it is not. The bottom line, consider buying a saw 2-3 times as expensive that will work for years to come. This one is designed to be replaced sooner than later.
