I know you think everything can be done with a power tool now days. I felt the same way. After I brought home this little saw, however I realized the error of my ways. If you are a serious woodworker, you've got to have a few low tech, old-school tools.

Super sharp. Fast cutting. Fits into tight spaces. Wouldn't be caught without it.

I use this saw all of the time and it does a great job on all wood, wet or dry. The screws on the handle work loose so I think from the factory they should have a bit more lok-tite

I picked this saw up pretty much for the express purpose of small carpentry projects like building birdhouses and bird feeders. For these tasks and those similar to it, I have been very pleased with the quality of this saw. It was more than up to the tasks and it still cuts very well with minimum upkeep. If you know that these are the tasks that you want out of this saw, then there isn't a better saw for anyone. However, if you're going to long, extended use, then I'd start looking into some power tools to save yourself time and effort. Unless you're just into making things completely by hand...

This kind of tool is ideal for quick cut-off jobs, that don't require a power tool. The short 15 inch length makes this saw an excellent choice for fitting in one's standard tool box. The comfort-grip handle material is a new feature and will hopefully pass the test of time. The induction-hardened teeth will stay sharp far longer than a conventional soft-toothed handsaw's teeth.

I was very pleased when this saw arrived in the mail. Saw is very good quality and is very sharp. For the average home owner this saw would be fine but for commercial use one might have trouble with the handle after a long period heavy use.

The wooden handle splits where it is attached to the blade. The blade cuts great.....just a bad choice of wood for the handle. Ron
