combination square

I saw this 16in square and the 7in square in the store and they both look good and feel good. I purchased both of them. I checked both with a machinest/engineer square and to my suprise they are accurate. I now use these for my every day squares.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Extra-long blade adds versitility

I've owned Craftsman's 12-inch combo for years & recently bought the 7-inch version, which has proven indispensable for tight places! 16-incher works well for longer spans- hey, how about a 24-inch blade ?

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Very Nice Square

I bought two of these and two 7 inch Craftsman squares and use the heck out of them. They stay true and the etched rule markings are way better then the cheaper printed om markings of cheaper squares. I do a lot of woodworking and use them daily. Just buy it. You won't be disapointed.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Well used

The Craftsman 16 inch combination square is a must have tool for anyone that works with wood or needs to mark items for layouts of items for porjects. I use my combination square to marking true 90 degree marks to cut my pieces for my projects. i also use this combination square for scribing metal c-perlin and angle iron for metal projects that I work on. I like the longer edge or rule as I think it helps you make more accurate marks for your work. I also use this combination square when placing pieces on my sled on my table saw, to help me double check that my cuts are going to be true and square. to the blade and the fence. This also fits easily in your tool belt when you are working on outdorr projects and need a combination square. This combination squares sees a lot of work time in both my shop and around the house and it's easy to read the measurements that you make. I would recommend this Craftsman Combination Square to my friends and family. It's a great tool to have.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

The extra length makes layout easy

Most combination squares have a twelve inch (or shorter) rule mounted on them. This works most of the time but I continually ran into layout problems that needed just a couple more inches. I worked on wooden aircraft and layout was critical for creating proper replacement parts. The longer rule just seemed more steady even if you were not using the entire length of the rule. I also used this for laying out cuts on aluminum sheets although I used some thing larger to score the lines that the awl included in the square.

This combination square has very good quality

I used it a lot of times since bought it from Sears. Very good quality. The square is true square and the 45 degree edge works great too. Next time I will buy a same brand smaller 6/7inch combination square.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
