    Giant Arc Joint Pliers....works well.

I bought the 16" Arc Joint Pliers for the shop. These are nice and big with a giant mouth opening. They feel very sturdy and will suit our needs nicely. My only reason for the 4-star rating is the difficulty in expanding and contracting the mouth. Even some of the guys had a really hard time with it. We had to lube up the slide mechanism with high temperature vacuum grease. Now, it slides with relative ease. But, they are a bit greasy now. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

great torque but arc joint too tight

This pair of pliers will provide enough torque for any job. The arc joint is tight, making adjusting the jaw size difficult. But I expect this to get easier with use. But once adjusted, this tightness is an advantage.

    16" arc joint pliers

although a bit more pricey than the competitors brand of arc joint pliers.the craftsman have a one piece fixed pin to insure a snug fit without play in the pivit joint allowing a firm tight grip that stays on the project surface thus preventing damage due to slipping.the handle sleeves stay in place for an excellent grip. strong jaws with fine teeth make these an excellent choice for any type of repair.a variety of sizes make these a must for any toolbox or shop.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

    LARGE arc joint pliers

Not something you need every day or every month, but there is no alternative when it is needed. I had a pair for 25 years until they were stolen. To remove a nut on a round shaft I once stood on the pliers to hold the shaft while a friend loosened the nut. A typically tough Craftsman product.

Big, Solid, made in the USA

Purchased this and a couple of other pliers to make my pliers set complete. MADE IN THE USA. That?s what I'm looking for in Craftsman tools, and have been watching what I buy from them as some tools are coming from China. Overall great set and would recommend to a family or friends. Grips on the pliers are good material and non-slip, feels solid in your hands. Great for large jobs, a must have for a tool set.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

A plier for any man who needs to prove he has the biggest pliers

Do you remember in the movie Crocodile Dunde when he pulls out the knife on the dude trying to mug him and his woman and says that's not a knife,,,, this is a knife ? Well if you own a set of these you could do the same thing if your buddie is attempting to use a dinky set of pliers cause these are the biggest set of pliers I ever bought! As always the craftsman quallity is there and they function awesome and come with the best warranty around. unfortunately they ended up to be too big for the job I purchased them to complete so I ened up returning them for a pipe wrench because the space I was trying to get into was so narrow there was no way to open the jaws once I got in and positioned.... had there been just another inch or 2 of room it would have made my life much easier but hey I'll be back to buy them again once the need arises.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Craftsman 16in pliers, a good tool

Good tool, hope the handle grips hold out, the material Craftsman uses for its pliers handles doesn't hold up to oil and such, they tend to slide off after a while. Hopfully they'll switch to somthing more like Cannel-Lock's material. But a very good tool none the less. I recomend them.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
