An All-American Hammer!!!

The wood handle is beautiful, it is the perfect size and has a lifetime warrenty. Combine that with the Craftsman name and a Made in the USA stamp and you can't lose.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great addition to my toolbox

I'm more of a homeowner, DIY, weekend warrior type, but I use this little hammer quite a bit. I've used it to help drive small nails into some woodworking that I need a bit less power than a regular hammer. I have also used this with a chisel to help clear out some old mortar on the bricks.

I would recommend this hammer.

The Most Used Size I Own and I Own Them ALL

I know that there have been a great many changes in Hammer design over the decades. There are now steel, fiberglass and even composite handled hammers. For a purist like me, however, nothing matches the feel of a good old fashioned hickory handle.

This ball pein hammer takes me back to a day with things were simpler and the job at hand was worth doing right, if it was worth doing at all. One cool little note, is that the Craftsman Logo is burned right into the handle of each hammer. No stickers to peal off leaving a gooing mess which attracts dirt and grime.

Remember that quality work requires quality tools!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Overall
The Craftsman 16 oz Ball Pein Hammer is a light hammer

The hickory handle reduces the weight of the hammer compared to an all steel hammer.  It is not as strong as the all steel hammer but it is a lot easier to carry around in a 18" hand box.  These hammers play an important role in a field service tool set.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
