Purchased on Sale

I have owned this hammer for over 20 years. As a weekend warrior it has never let me down. A 16 ounce hammer always shows up as the first thing anyone should have in their toolbox It was on sale for $9 and I purchased 2 for each of my daughters. Something about the wooden handles makes the balance better than the fiberglass. I know it is not that durable, but as a Craftsman, I figured it could always be returned.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

MY FAVORITE HAMMER

I made this purchase for my wife she is always using mine. It is well balanced and feel good in the hand. I especially like the rubber **** cap. Very handy for nudging something in place without marring the finish of your project.

Good hammer

Good hammer. Particularly like the carving on the wooden handle, gives it a nice look. The head feels well connected to the handle, a definite plus.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Replaced under Warranty

This was a replacement for my 40yr + hammer that broke.  Received under warranty, best warranty around.  More companies should offer this type of warranty..

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Craftsman 16 oz curved claw hammer with wood handle

this Craftsman hammer with a wooden handle is comfortable to hold while using, used it over an entire summer while doing home renovations. We had several other hammers in our tool box, but this one really was the "go to" tool, so popular that we had to visit the store again to buy another one so we would not fight over who was going to use it. The claw feature was strong enough to pull out old nails with little elboe grease. Buy the Craftsman Brand, this one will certainly not let your down when you need a reliable hammer.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Small but sturdy

I received this hammer a number of years ago in my "going off to college kit." I still have it, and it looks practically good as new. It works well and it's fairly sturdy. It's kind of small though, compared to another hammer I acquired a few years back. So I would consider this Craftsman hammer sort of "light duty." It works fine for minor hammering, but isn't nearly as good as a heavier hammer at removing nails and serious hammer work.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Classic feel and always on the tool belt

Not everyone in the world likes rubber coated fiberglass hammers so Craftsman having this classic wood handled hammer is a nice alternative. It is great at most tasks around the house and is nicely balanced. This is a a good starter hammer and is nicely priced as well. Not that I have ever had to but almost every sears stocks a replacement handle as well.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

A bare bones basic workhorse

Every tool box needs a hammer and this is it. Gets the job done every time. As basic as they come, solid wooden handle. Think I have 3 or 4 of them. Designed to last many, many years.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
