16oz Rip Claw Hammer

I'm not sure I've ever said this about a hammer, but this one is really pretty. Made in the USA, solid hickory handle with inlays, nice weight, and feels great in the hands. Hopefully Sears/Craftsman will discontinue the trend of producing tools offshore so they can once again become my one-stop-shop for all my tool needs.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

16 oz. rip claw hammer

This has been my main hammer for over seven years, and it has served me well on every occasion. This is by far the best hammer I have ever used. Made in the USA with that classic craftsman warranty, you can't go wrong with this one. The wood handle looks great and wears really well. perfectly weighted and balanced for consistent strikes time and time again. Great looking piece that performs even better!

Beautiful Hammer!

The wood handle is a great look on this hammer and is a perfect weight. I use my tools for around the house jobs and for the price you can't go wrong. I have no doubt this hammer will last for years to come and is great for everyday use.

wish they would bring back the 20oz. version.

Wish they would bring the 20 oz. model back.I used that hammer for years and now can not find it.Was told they stopped making it. Well bad decision in my opinion.

No complaints!

I just used the hammer while re-roofing a house. I like the feel of the wood handle, and I also like the reduced weight you get with a wood handle. It's a nice hammer!
