I recently put this rake to the test raking and smoothing stones out of my recently dug-up lawn in preparation for reseeding. The fiberglass handle seems very durable, the grips are well positioned, and the length is great for a taller guy like me. The limited lifetime warranty (and the reason I consistently buy Craftsman) is an obvious bonus.
I bought this rake on sale, and I wanted to fiberglass handle so I didn't have to worry about the wooden ones rotting away. It's very strong so far and after a few uses it has held up well.

Got this rake as a birthday present in October. Didn't use it until April and the head popped off while I was raking down a pile of light dirt. This was exactly the first time I used it. My father has owned his Craftsman rake for close to forty years and he's never had a problem. Now that I own my own house, I've been planning on stocking up with Craftsman yard tools. I hope the quality of this rake is not indicative of how Craftsman's craftsmanship has changed for the worse over the years. I would add stars to this review if they replace my rake with one that actually holds up.
