The high point of this set, by far, is the ratchet. Those thin-profile ratchets are nice. I'm pretty sure they've got 60 teeth in 'em and the action is smooth. I opened the ratchet up and it's even got two o-rings inside to keep dust and grime out. It's much nicer than the raised panel ratchets that come with the cheaper sets. The sockets are adequate. The chrome looks pretty good though it's a little rough in the inside. This hasn't affected how well they function - they grip great and haven't rounded any fasteners - but it's not quite up to the level of what craftsman used to produce. Overall though, it's a nice set and I'd recommend it for anyone who needs a good 1/2" starter set.
