Bought 42 pc set online sale, 3 sockets had chrome peeling off as they came out of the box brand new. Took to Sears and told by Craftsman that they didn't make the 3 sizes. I just bought the set 2 days prior. Manager suggested bringing back whole set to exchange for new. Next day, was told they didn't make the set anymore and I would have to wait at least 30 days to see if one came in. Why wait for something they don't make anymore? Asked for my money back and told I could only get store credit. This is while I am online looking at the same set and it is availabile. I needed the set and kept them. Called Sears when I got home and told they wouldn't compensate me for the damaged sockets. Nice thanks when you spent $3K in tools at the store this yr. This is my first review. I have bought Craftsman tools my whole life, I am not happy with the quality of this set and the service. To add to this, I have 3 new sockets that are not what I paid for. Hope others learn from my mistake.
