I got this as a replacement for my previous Craftsman 1700 psi. First of all, assembly is required and I mean a lot of assembly. Assembled parts are mostly plastic so if you over tighten, you will crack the piece. Some parts were already broken, I guess in transit, I did not want to waste time driving back to the store so I improvised. This machine is much weaker than its previous model even though the psi's are the same. Directions show you how to assemble but not how to take apart again.... once attached, parts seem like they are permanently stuck together so I guess you only get one try. My last craftsman only lasted one season so I bought service policy but wasted weeks waiting for the repair team to classify it "unfixable" before I could get a replacement. It would be cheaper and less aggravating to simply buy an $80 power washer each year and then just throw it out.

I have no one to blame but myself. i read the reviews but still thought i could get by with this item. if you have ever owned a gas powered pressure washer, you will not be happy with this unit. The power is just not there. it would take me a week to power wash my shed.

Bought this because I thought it would be more convenient to store and use than my gas unit. After assembly, I realized how poorly it was designed. The cheap plastic rack does a poor job of holding everything, the emplements don't fit well and fall off. The power cord with the monster safety control takes up more room than the hose. After reading the other reviews regarding poor performance I felt it was not worth the effort of firing it up. My thought is " poor quality on the outside means poor quality on the inside". I will make a spot for my gas washer that is convenient to get to.

This has been very useful, I have used it to clean my bbq grill and have also washed my vehicles with it and have not had any problems. It does take distilled water but that is very inexpensive.

I have pressure washed professionally and don't understand most of those who wrote criticisms. Pressure cleaners are rated concerning expected pressure output @ the tip. You're not going to remove paint from concrete block with this model. Buy one more powerful, if that is your aim. I like the "steam cleaning" feature of this and the fact that it is electric (plug it in, hook up water supply, & go!). I own two gas powered Pressure washers which I use for different purposes.

I purchased this yesterday and tried it out today. I pressure washed my concrete patio (which hadn't been cleaned in 4 years) and it worked great. I didn't use any soap or cleaner and it cleaned the concrete very well with just plain water. The only issue I have is with the cord and hose storage. I guess who ever designed that part of this unit didn't try it out before putting it on the market. But overall, this is a great unit.

This unit has no power at all!! It took 10 minutes to clean a single board on my deck. At that rate I'd be dead of old age before the job got done! I'm returning this excuse for a pressure washer. I would not reccommend this inadequate waste of time to anyone. I am upset that Craftsman has lowered its quality to the level of an outright sham. I have a Honda powered 2500 psi I bought from Sears a decade ago but with the advent of ethanol gasoline it died quickly, but it would clean a board in two 6 to 10 second passes and my deck in less than an hour.
