Good tools with bad batteries
I am using Craftsman Since 1999, I have 19.2 volts drill, angle drill, hammer drill, saws. Tools qualities are good. But have 19.2 volts bad batteries. It works like 3 or four months. Craftsman has to start a program to re place the defective, with new one, at sears store. Or sale the batteries at half price for existing customers. Because the 19.2 volts diehard are expensive. Save your money

Battery life is poor. Drill is gutless. Bought a drill and saw combo. On a full charge can only sink a handful of wood screws OR make a couple of cuts in 3/4" (or less) plywood before battery is totally dead. Pack came with 1 battery and a cheap charger. My other drill is a Ridgid and although it's not perfect, it has much longer batter life and significantly more power even though it's several years older and only 18V.

Great little drill.

This is a nice drill for a homeowner or occasional user. You obviously can't expect contractor quality at this price-point, don't be silly. For hanging the occasional picture frame or even sheet of drywall its a no brainer!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Overall
great tool

this was a great deal, but ask me in 3 or 4 years what i think. the last craftsman drilldriver i purchased was reconditioned and i still use it. i bought it about 7 years ago and just recently needed a battery. if the newer one gives me that much service, than i scored again. the only drawback i can see at this time: it only has one speed & torque range.

own 2 and love em!

i have 2 of these, not because the first one broke or anything but because i needed a new battery charger and i caught the 2nd one at a sale price to where it was the same price as just buying the charger. it worked out because my husband and i both use the **** out of it so now we're not fighting over the one.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
